Perfectly perfect even.

sigh …. one day….

It will be perfect once they figure out how to ferment beer.

My favorite moments were spent waiting for a fish to bite.

I didn’t care much for the taste of fish, so when we didn’t even get a nibble, I was happy.

This I could never understand. If I’m going to go to all the work of obtaining fishing gear, buying or renting a boat, paying for a fishing license (and in these parts, you need two- one for fresh water, one for salt chuck), by golly, I’d better be catching something! And I ain’t throwing it back, either.

If I want to go somewhere to relax, sitting on a local park bench and watching the world go by suits me just fine.

To each his own, I guess…

Never loved fishing, though the idea of it sounds good. I prefer to sit at a sidewalk cafe and watch the world go by or to sit on my balcony with a cold drink.

Why was you expects a shark attack?

For many catching fish is not the main objective of going fishing.

Sometimes it’s a bonus, but it’s not essential to having a good or successful time.

The guy who lost the fishing competition was really upset.

He was totally out of line.

I bet you think Russians use fishing rods.

But no, Nyet.

The guy who mans the fishing rods on my boat tried to convince me to vote for a candidate. I fired him.

Pole workers aren’t allowed to do that!

Fishing saved me.

Fishing saved me from becoming a pornstar, now I’m just a hooker.

Is his wife called Annette?

Well, somewhere along the line they invented the boat.

Drinking beer and drowning bait.

Except we’re out of beer. Do you remember where the rocks are? (old joke)

The Zen of Fishing.

If you guys are going to be out there all day, I hope you made sure to protect yourself from the sun!

Back in BC. nightfall only lasted two and a half hours before the sun rose again the next day? Golly, time passed by much faster then!

Aw, man, now I want to go fishing instead of going to work.

We had our own little lake, my granddad could row out to middle and always have his back to the shore so he couldn’t hear my grandmother yelling from the shore. It is how I learned to fish, or at least look like it.

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day.

Teach a man to fish and you’ll never see him again.

As I’ve often said, “If you think the purpose of fishing is to catch fish, you’re missing the point.”

Aaaaah! Nothings is more relaxing, than to be trolling the lake, drinking a cold beer, and listening to willie Nelson….

On Fishing my friend said – You put out the chairs and cooler of beer, bait and cast and hope nothing bites

Best fishing.

Contentment can be found in the most unusual places. Bless the boat and the fisherman.

So many days like that while fishing in Wisconsin. And they wondered why I always brought binoculars.

I would think they would be Megalodon bait sitting out in that small boat.

So THAT’S the lure of fishing. I see…..

That’s why it’s called “fishing” and not “catching.”
