More like a root cellar. Makes him a root seller.
It’s OK as long as it doesn’t go “Timber!”
Great for those who want to put down roots.
Show him the cave with the upside down fig tree in Bacoli, Italy.
Reminds me of how the large burrow in the warren in Watership down was described, with roots holding up the ceiling.
One problem with these NEW black and white cartoons is that you can’t tell whether it is Peter or B.C. doing the buying or selling!
I’ll go with Peter being the seller since Peter usually has a thicker mop of hair on his forehead than B.C.
This of course justifies the treemendous price….
He could start a home business, making root beer.
But since your name isn’t sale, you can’t have it.
This was an episode of the Dick Van Dake show 60 years ago.
….and you get to choose your own decoration, colors, wallpaper or what you like!
I’m pretty sure that particular timber isn’t done growing. With luck, it’ll grow a new room.
Soon to be featured on an episode on HGTV. (everyone’s guilty pleasure where everything looks so easy until you try it yourself).
I’m guessing the artist has no concept of what a timber frame house looks like.
Furnished??
The black and white color strips must be contagious, First Dogs of C=Kennel now BC
Insured against root rot.
“…lovely timber frame…”
1) So is it located in Framingham?
2) It’s being sold, because the previous owners are now in prison, although they claim they were framed.
I thought this was a continuation of yesterday’s Back to BC comic from 1966. Some coincidences are just too black and white to ignore.
Be sure to wear a hard hat, those roots could leave a nasty gash.
The only bummer are the HOA fees
Those pesky squirrels want all HOA fees paid in nuts…or by nuts…

Before you can be aware to root out the problem, you have to notice your foundation is cracking.
It’ll grow on you..
