Albert was born prematurely old.
Indubitably. When you’re a child it seems like something faraway in the future. When you’re in your 70s it’s much closer.
There is a link – people who have more birthdays tend to live longer.
Birthdays are only interesting when you’re a kid. I stopped caring decades ago….
Albert is right. When he gets bigger, that helmet is going to cut off his circulation. – gasp – ( gurgle ) PLOP.
Reread what Albert first says with enthusiasm instead of sarcasm.
He’s got a point ya knows. I never understood the purpose of wishing Happy Birthday. Especially after you has grown up.
Maybe he’ll outgrow that stupid helmet soon.
You have to have a positive attitude. Your young they will find a cure for old age before you get there.
Maybe for his birthday they can drop him in a vat of liquid nitrogen, so he’ll never get any older. Careful, Albert. If you’re that pessimistic while in your single digits your Mom might be tempted to do so.

Most kids are in Egypt??
Nice attitude. This kid will be loads of fun to be around when he’s old and broke down.
It’s all meaningless anyway so enjoy the hedonism while you can. Then, die.
If only I had known and quit growing….
Those mileposts? That’s called a calendar. Might as well celebrate sometime.
It all depends on whether you like parties you can’t leave when you get tired of them.
“There’s the milepost up ahead, you’ve entered… The Birthday Zone…”
Birthdays are a lot more fun when you’ve only had 4 or 5 of them.
That kid’s gonna need a lot of therapy.
Another year closer to the maw of the tomb
