Besides the lack of rhyme, the poem was too long (short and sweet is so much better) …

… and in the end it was odd.

At least he didn’t say, “How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. One one thousand. Two one thousand.”

No wonder she didn’t like the poem, the delivery was too robotic.

Roses are red, violets are blue, I’d like to get, in bed with you. Simple.

Hexadecimal is so much more expressive, and the soul of brevity.

    Try this instead:

    (sqrt(cos(x))cos(300.x)+sqrt(abs(x))-0.7)((4.-(xx))^0.01)

    for -2. < x < 2.

It’s also grammatically incorrect. We all know it’s “0101” before “1100” except after “0010”. I guess that’s poetic license, or in the case of robots, poetic EULA.

The rhymes aren’t so great, but I love the meter. I think it’s iambic milliammeter.

    Roses are One.

    Violets are Zero.

There’s no way to turn this into a Rhyme.
