This is why most turtles are quadrupedal. Less chance of this happening when you’re horizontal the right way to start with. Of course, it does cut down on the ability to uze the forelimbs for object manipulation, but Thomas doesn’t seem to have thumbs, so I doubt he does much of that anyway.
