He better have a plan B. If Susie starts to climb in anger, there aren’t many escape routes from up a tree.

Well, Valentines day is over, so… the hostilities may resume.

No one has mentioned it yet but Hobbes recently played a similar trick on Calvin. He turned out to be up the tree with a pail filled with snowballs. Calvin seems to get some of his ideas from the tricks that Hobbes plays on him.

Susie should know better after all this time. LOL

That tree limb looks a bit thin to hold Calvin’s weight….

I’ve never thought much about that expression before, but now I see some problems with it. Shooting with what? And what kind of barrel? If you use a gun, and it’s a wooden barrel, aren’t you going to make holes in the side and make a mess? If it’s a metal barrel, how about the ricochet problem? And how does the water affect the path of the bullets? If you use a BB gun won’t the water just stop them? Are you using a spear gun with little spears?

If you think I’m overthinking the joke now, just wait until I’ve had my second cup of coffee.

“Look up” would be even funnier.

Suzie needs to do research – watch some old cartoons.

Susie’s so gullible.

Calvin is in BIG trouble.

What happens next we’ll never really know,

I suspect it involves a lot of snow.

This never ends well for Calvin.

Not often that Calvin gets over on Susie. I remember another time he got her with a giant snowball as “Stupendous Man” about 2 years back. Calvin should savor these rare victories and expect his Mom to be waiting for him at home after she gets a call from Susie’s Mom.
