Life insurance guy to me many years ago. “What do you do?” I’m a technician. “What does that entail?” I weld thermocouples onto solid rocket boosters. “Hmmmmm.”

I wonder what ever became of Buster, the Myth Buster crash test dummy? Maybe he has his own children’s TV show in Europe.

Is Mr. Dumme being discriminated against because of his … race?

… or his ancestral background? [Is this a case of Unfair hiring practice?]

Somehow, insurance is less for a number of people I know with several accidents on their records than it is for me. Apparently I am “high risk” because I have a fast car and I’m male, but at least I’m not a teenager or in my 20s anymore. That was brutally expensive. I’d say it’s more important that I’ve had no accidents in decades, and the only one I ever had at 20 years old was a small scrape at 5mph.

The Dummés are an offshoot of the Dumás family.
