The Vacuous Duo have clearly imbibed too much of the Kool-Aid!While they have both bought into the colony mentality, Sarah, perhaps is still on the fence. She would be in a perfect position to destroy the colony from within.Or has she forgotten her Topsider training? Is she capable of what all mutants believe about them. She can go “Rambo” on the lizard people collective buttocks. Is is it a fallacy like assuming all Japanese are Ninjas. One of our greatest failures as a species is our capacity to forge from the heart of darkness, great evil. Our innate bent for destruction may be our heroes salvation.Wake up Sarah!Your destiny awaits, be it squatting over an over sized egg carton or letting them have a great fall…

I get the impression that those two lizard ladies must’ve been cheerleaders before they mutated, all that’s missing from their full throated support of the Lizardland life are the RAH RAHS, skimpy outfits, and the Pom-poms.

Anyone remember a Hitchcock or twilight zone episode called “consider her ways”? There were no males in that society, but the female lot was similar…

If the Reptilian women can do what they want, when they want, with who they want…does it have to be withna Reptilian man?

The egg-layers probably get as much food as they want, too. Need calcium and protein to produce eggs. Also, no way to tell how much time it takes the colony to produce 200 viable eggs ( of which maybe 1 is a reptilian). And that’s something else…these are all the same reptile form. Other shapes and sizes of reptiles have appeared in this world. Are those other types rejected as well?

Sarah, ask what the bonus payments are for laying eggs with reptilians inside. And, find out what the colony does for Easter.

She’s being conned. That “good omen” egg was handed to her. How convenient it was reptilian when they guided her to Candling. This may be all part of the big con of making visitors go away. Make the colony look as unappealing as possible. It’s not just theater, it’s Grand Guignol.

I think I know where the mutagen came from. In the comments to Heavenly Nostrils, Doctor Toon said, “I try to keep my Nuclear Coffee away from children and animals, for some reason external mutations are more common and longer in duration with them”.

I seem to remember Wally’s baseball playing friend not having it so bad in Endtown. Without going back to the beginning of the milk trial arc, I don’t remember his name.

Sarah being conned? Most likely. And it appears Sarah isn’t buying it..Preponderance of evidence is shifting – looks like Sarah will leave with her furry friends, after all. That is, if leaving is what Aaron has in mind for them..Moving on..The revelation in the egg room is far more onerous than the current arc. Consider what we have learned:.Species no longer breed true: Lizards cannot reliably reproduce lizards..Offspring are no longer immune to the mutagen: Just because they are born lizards doesn’t guarantee they will stay lizards..Up to now, it has been noted, we have learned very little about reproduction of mutants. I say that, in this arc, we have learned a lot. An awful lot..And since many animals survive by eating other animals, and since animals can no longer reproduce themselves, the food chain of this new world is hopelessly broken!.And yes, I am inferring that what is happening to the lizards is happening to the other mutant animals..Without further expository, without any other information to the contrary, the Endtown world is doomed, and likely will end within one generation!

Glad to hear about Level Head. Also I just caught up on Doc Rat. Are you still going to shut down Doc Rat until the new site is up, or is that old news.I would like to see Sarah go Rambo on these lizards.Lots of good comments on how weird it all is. Like how there is only one species of lizard. Also I looked up egg laying sex. It seems they mainly just have to get their cloacas touching. that is weird too, but so is human sex.

Other mutants don’t seem to like you very much? Really? You don’t say? Gee, I wonder why that could be? (/sarcasm)

If only one in two hundred eggs contain a reptilian and those are the only ones allowed to hatch, it could well be that their birth rate is currently below equivalency, meaning that they desperately need more egg-layers like Sarah else their xenophobic paradise is doomed to a miserable xenophobic failure due to depopulation.

    They don’t sound like cheerleaders.

    They sound like salespeople.

Specifically, they sound like multilevel marketing salespeople. Talking in hyperoptimistic, jargon-packed slogans? Check. More interested in creating new salespeople than selling product? Check. Culty loyalty to the company? Check…
