I too am as dumbfounded as Bernice when Tiffany said “brain stroke.”

Tiff is ambitious. But even her account can’t “cash this check that she’s trying to write”…. – And even if she could connect some people through “Star-man” (Piro), what kind of people- Unless “Quill!” doesn’t care, so long as there are ‘butts in seats"… – I guess everyone’s putting the, uh.. transport thingy in front of the long faced pullin’ critter…

So is ‘brain stroke’ Tiffany’s way of saying she’s had a really great idea, or do we need to call 911?

When Tiffany says, “I’m planning a humongous Halloween happening in my suite,” why does Bernice say “You are?” Bernice knows that Tiffany wants to do that. They spent all of last week’s strips talking about it. It’s obvious that Bernice is skeptical that the party will take place or anyone will show up, but she should have said “Humongous?” instead of “You are?” if she wanted to express skepticism.

Well, it was sort of rainy here today…too mucky to do serious outdoor work, but not bad enough so I would have had to cancel IS Katie’s walk! Tomorrow’s going to be drier, so we’ll both be out…in the mud! =-O Time to put IS Katie to bed…and me, too. “Empty warehouse, it will be dark, a throng of partygoers – sounds like the show will be quite the “rave.””*BS, and since they’ve had only 3 days to rehearse (note: there’s a hearse in that word), the play might be improv with audience participation. Wild!

I’m liking Tiffany more and more! She’s had a clever brainstroke and is eager to help Quill’s cause. If only that dour and sour Bernice weren’t there, trying to subvert rather than to help! The main thing lacking is friends to fill the seats, because, so far, Tiff has none, not even many acquaintances so far at Moony University….

As I remember the story, there’s a pretty lady, a preacher, a ne’er do well, a horse, and a jack-o-lantern. Cast Quill, Hair, Piro, Bern, Tiff, Sun, Vampire girl (?) in each part, remembering it takes 2 to make a horse.

What does the drama department want with admission receipts anyway?It’s not like they’ll be paying Washington Irving any royalties.(And the Undivine Miss M should have her pay docked for the way she runs her department.)

And the ferret! The ferret wants a part iin the play too.

In this day and age, when humiliating pics go viral on the web constantly, it’s a bit more than a ‘mistake’ to insist on a shot when someone asks you to stop.-Quill has yet to have a best moment…

It’s interesting that, to you, a male character’s best moments are when he teases a woman character by taking unwanted pics, or tells her she’s imperfect. And, to you, these actions are classified as ‘mistakes,’ and not displays of active disrespect (and if continued, such as continuing to take unwanted pictures, outright bullying.)-It’s no surprise that the female character you find acceptable in this comic is the one who has a history of being confrontational toward the female viewpoint character. You are becoming as predictable as Quill….

I’m still trying to figure out why Tiffany gets a suite all to herself while Bernice (and presumably everyone else) has to have normal sized rooms and roommates. You can’t even use the “well, she lives off-campus” excuse since it’s been shown that she’s in the same building as Bernice.Seriously, do any colleges actually have that living arrangement? “We’ll put one enourmous suite right next to all these normal dorm rooms and only put a single freshman in there. I’m sure no student will object to this blatant preferential treatment.”

LOVE all the comments (seldom read much, but tonight I did). Luann does lend itself to much analysis.

I know everyone here seems to hate it when I talk about the earlier release of the next day’s comic on the ArcaMax site, BUT… it seems as if ,uh, undesirable smelly substances are heading toward some whirling blades…
