We all [sort of] predicted this .. but it works beautifully! :) The look on Danae’s face superbly captures her astonishment - shocked in more ways than one :) Well done Wiley!

Victoria used to be a little hell-raiser herself when she was younger. Danae tried to prank a prankster; which fails every time.

Ooh, a rare armchair shock. Brilliant delivery Victoria and very well executed on the casual,yet one fingered contact.

And no better person to deliver the final shock than Victoria. By the way, what I love is her final line. She doesn’t yell, she simply preempts. Because she likes Danae and can anticipate her. These two will be fast friends for life, I think

Doctor Toon, I’m with you. She’s just right for this family (though I admit, the test she gave Joe was a little much).

Right on, Dr Toon! and Barbara, shuffling doesn’t usually involve lifting the feet (much less at the same time)- panel 2 has Danae REALLY in her zone, which makes it even MORE fun when she’s foiled!

cabrobst got it right: Victoria = grown-up Danae.

Dr. Toon - when was that? I didn’t keep up for a few months and missed a bunch of story line.

That is quite the charge.

Victoria is not only incredibly clever, but also extremely limber.

I, too, like Victoria. Glad she came along. Shocking how much I like her.

My only gripe about Victoria is the sudden change to “Mom hair.” Otherwise she’s a great character.

HA! HA! GOTCHA! I knew it! I was right that Danae was the next. On the second panel, Victoria heard the sound while Danae shuffled her shoes on the floor. She touched her finger at top of Danae’s head quickly! BUZZZ! Victoria, well done! LOLs! X-D

Not sure which is better, the strip today or all the great electric puns.

Victoria is a really good character. In real life she would be “the cool mom” that one kid in the neighborhood has and who everybody else wishes they had. She reminds me of somebody I know.

DocT; you know it’s right when they’re in with your humour. Victoria’s right for Danae, Joe’s along for the ride; “If she can deal with my kid…”

I literally laughed out loud at this one. I have been a fan of Victoria from the beginning.

Queen of Atomic Wedgies and Queen of Static Electricity - is there no end to Victoria’s powers?

I only wish my computer display had high def so I could increase the zoom on the first frame and really enjoy Danae’s expression. It is great at 200% but would be fantastic at higher zoom.

I agree with cdward, people of like minds, like Danae and Victoria, would definately develope a great long term friendship based on mutual respect. (not to mention thier mutual love of levity!) The world needs more Victorias…and Danaes, too, for that matter.

Just one thing wrong with this whole sequence – you’re far more likely to generate static electricity on a very dry, cold day than on a rainy day.

I don’t think Joe realizes he’s bringing another Danae into the house…
