I miss Switzer’s licorice, still the best tasting in my humble opinion.

Saw a pretty good concert in 1973; Rolling Stones – Stevie Wonder. Tickets, $6.50. And we complained about the tickets being overpriced!

Calvin I agree with all except #4 I kinda like licorice and raisins !

Never say “never” young man.*When you are hot & sweaty from playing outside in August, you just might like drying off with a cool damp towel.

The only thing I like in that list is #3.

Couldn’t agree more. I suffered through the 70s once and never want to go back. I won’t even go to a Target.

Agree on the 70s, for the most part. Disco sucked.

A telling moment in the disco era: Frank Zappa (absolutely NO fan of the genre) recorded a song called “Dancin’ Fool,” (from the album “Sheik Yerbouti”) which was a rather savage parody of disco and its participants. Turned out it was a popular song… in discos, of all places.

I agree with No. 5 wholeheartedly. Also, I can’t stand black licorice.

Why isn’t Susie on that list? Calvin hates her a lot…

I don’t agree with #3. In 1975, the fossils of the giant pterosaur Quetzalcoatlus were found (I learned this from Dinosaur and other Prehistoric Animal Fact Finder [©1988] by Dr. Michael Benton), and in 1976, the megamouth shark was first seen alive (I learned this from The Little Guides: Sharks [©1999] by Leighton Taylor [consultant editor]).
