(Gregâs exhibit:) An âupside down question mark in English âŠdoes this mean that itâs a _ârehtorical"_ quesiton? â I guess Jockâs idea would have him put in stocks and bonds âŠ. â The one drawback with âreversible shoesâ would be that you could never have âstinky feetâ if you wanted to âswitch them upââŠ.

So, out of the mouths of babes will come the next part of this arc. How refreshing it would be if Shannon told Frank and Nancy that their idea of turning a warehouse into an art gallery is âsillyââŠ

Spend it? Youâre already thinking wrong TJ. Invest it all, give yourself something to retire on. Stupid kid.

âThe Warehouse Planâ
StoicLion1973 over 9 years ago
And TJ appears to remind readers that he recently came into some money and wants to invest it. Anyone who thinks the Warehouse Plan wonât happen hasnât been paying attention. BTW, I donât think Frank & Nancy want to cater to a single audience; the WP came into fruition when Luann or Quill mentioned not having adequate space to hold a play. So, I imagine the warehouse will be converted into a multi-use facility.
drewpamon over 9 years ago
No doubt, Toni and Bradâs wedding will be at the warehouse.

Wouldnât it have been cheaper to just put a lock on the door? Especially if they might close on some other occasion.

A joint venture between Zebo-TJ-DeGroots! What will they call it, Titanic II?

Frank and Nancy, just be careful if TJ ever says, âYou know what this theater needs? A propane tank!âI wouldnât be coming back to work there.

I wonder if the guy in the knit cap is ever going to actually contribute something useful to this strip (or to his fellow characters).
Ida No over 9 years ago
Yeah, I hate the Submit button sometimes.Actually, the question in the poll is âwhat would you do if you had a warehouseâ, so it kind of lets you do an end run around what Greg and Karen are going to do.

Every character has their own self-interest idea for âThe Warehouseâ.TJ is the only one whoâs being vaguely realistic since $61 K wonây buy you a building anywhere, especially in California.Any bets on ZĂ©bo being the current owner of âThe Warehouseâ, but couldnât pull off the gallery idea himself, so heâs looking for pigeons to do it for him?

âcause sometimes itâs just too hard to figure out which shoe goes on which foot, like socks.

Nibble, nibble, Mom & Dad. Before long, youâll have swallowed the warehouse plan hook, line, and sinker.*When all the circumstances align to put you on a path, pull over and check your map.

âHey, TJ, congratulations on committing insurance fraud! "*SB â Hey, letâs not be cynicalâ we VOTED on it, so itâs got to be legit. right?
RSH over 9 years ago
Oh Goth, I was starting to like you for your terse and to the point remarks. Now youâve gone back to being the total void. At least Jock thought of something interesting though not likely doable, but maybe for socks or really flexible shoes made out of some soft polymer.
Pipe Tobacco Premium Member over 9 years ago
:) I still really like Emo (Goth Dude) and Jacque (Jock) a lot as characters. Still not really liking the warehouse/gallery idea. It seems so far beyond typical college experience for a freshman course. ButâŠ. I will have to defer my final opinion until I see what Greg still has afoot in this regard.

âI think the best Idea would be to have a base shoe "*BS â Thatâs a fine idea. I used to buy one style of shoe at KMart in Navy, Forest Green, Black, Brown, White, Bone because they were comfortable. Now theyâve quit selling those shoes.*Please tell Jock & TJ about your idea. Ned (Judge Parker entrepreneur) could manufacture them using senior citizens.

maybe you could peel off the out part of the sole. then reverse and stick on a new outer sole portion.

âHey, TJ, congratulations on committing insurance fraud!â.Some people are SOOOOO distrusting.Just because someone looks guilty, benefited from an event, even has a slightly shady past does NOT PROVE he is guilty this particular time..In fact, the fact he hasnât figured out what to do with the money yet implies it caught him off-guard.
