I’ve always wondered, if the early bird gets the worm, just why’d the worm get out of bed? Huh? Now quit bothering me!

In an earlier B.C., the apteryx thought he would be the early bird. He ate the worm, said the equivalent of yuck, then said he’d rather have ham and eggs.I’m with him.

I am a natural cheery morning person…my children are not. To get them up in the morning I would go into their rooms and sing “Oh! How I Hate To Get Up In The Morning,Oh! Maybe Mom should offer him gummy worms for waking up. He’s kissing his pillow because his pillow wants him to stay in bed, and Hobbes rebuffed him.
