Maybe Pru will suggest a night out with the girls to cheer up Luann. So far, she’s a rather likable character, but I don’t like her hair.

I’m enjoying this Pru and Luann friendship. Glad Pru is becoming more and more of a part of this strip.

Amazing. Pru has Endured Unwarranted Suspicion from both Lu and Bern. Went to great lengths to help open the “money-Pit” uh, I MEAN the “Fuze” FREE of Charge, yet, for Lu’s Parental Units. And Agreed to Pay ‘rent’ for a room that She SHOULD be living in for FREE.

And after all of THAT, Pru still finds time to Comfort Luann, in Her Inexplicable, Predictable GRIEF.

Pru looks and acts a lot older than college students. I’d say she is at least 30.

I like Pru’s outfit today. I wonder if she packed enough clothes for 6 months, or went shopping?

Pru has become my favorite character!

Luann deserves an A, for emotional honesty, but she also needs to manage her emotions. Not suppress them, but manage them. Not every environment is safe. If that is performance art, I’m on board. But that will come.

Silver lining.

I had another Luann dream, this time involving the colleges. The town decided to have a medieval festival, and with the Fuse having links to both schools the Degroots got the history classes involved. Luann, Jock, and Emo were jesters out in front of the Fuse. She rode on Jock’s shoulders singing topical songs she wrote while Emo fired back witty replies and comments. Jock can play the lute; who knew? At least in the dream he could. Dez was a minstrel with a small drum. Tiff was done up like nobility. Others were there, but i can not recall what they portrayed, if it ever was clear.

Luann could be exploring new territory soon. But probably not.

At least we have gotten out of that horrid art class.

Good for Zebo! Not only did those tears wash Qu out of Lu’s system, but she is learning that life is “just an array of ideas” to express in Art. (eeegh)

Argy, LOL! I often incorporate this or that from my life into dreams. In that case i had read the “performance art” statement, and also before bed i had read part of a book based partly upon the Fourth Crusade (which was really an attempt by the Doge of Venice and allies to displace Constantinople, its rulers, and its Greek Orthodox church from their increasing control over maritime trade which Venice had once controlled.). So my dreaming mind wove them together, probably also w the memory of the song Luann and Quill worked on because arguments between the two came up here in recent days. Hey, from what pieces i can recall of it, it must have been an entertaining dream!

April 1st and no Brad and Toni? Whatever happened to tradition?

An “A” for her performance art, eh? Did Jock also get an A for the role he played with her?

I can still see Pru as being a guy masquerading as a girl masquerading as a lesbian so he can get into bedrooms of other unsuspecting guys girlfriends. Okay, maybe not.

I am relieved to see that Jock’s comments were just backdrop to the arc and that there will be no episodes (hopefully) involving Jock and Luann. I’m guessing he might have asked her to go out and that Luann politely said she had no interest in dating at this time.

What happened to Delta?

Someone mentioned yesterday that we tend to forget that many of the things we see in the strip over 4-5 days depict events that might actually take place in the space of say, 10 minutes Also, other arcs might be playing ‘catch-up’ with the most recent because in their universe, events are happening at the same time. It would be nice if Evans started on of these changes with a small caption in teh first panel saying somethinf simple, like ‘Meanwhile’

Seems like his class is an easy ‘A’ if you decide to suspend logic and reason and think like him.

Nice to see the girls getting along, Pru has a good heart, though she tends to talk ceaselessly (not uncommon among urban East Coasters). And I’m sure Luann is comfortable enough with sharing her Relationship Problems with Pru, too. Nothing but win-win here today (even a joke at Zébo the Clown’s expense)….

maybe it will be Pru who encourages Luann to do more with art. I hope so.

Pru is really showing signs of empathy and kindness! I’m getting to sort of like her. And you guys’ comments crack me up! Gunsmoke – flight attendant – (& Andrews Sisters !) :-D There’s a genre-bender!

I hear that “Agent Carter” is on “the bubble” as far as renewal is concerned. the ratings have not been spectacular since the show’s return, and is currently not on the network schedule.^^^^^^^^^^true. I like the show. She is very pretty for one thing, but I heard she already had a pilot for another series ready to air… so you may be right, it may be ‘Curtains for Carter’
