-By the way, related to your comment about green versus black avocadoes yesterday; the black ones are usually more fully ripened. Green (Florida) ones never get ‘more’ ripe. Sometimes you can eat a plant when ripe, but have a bad reaction to it before it ripens. I can eat red, orange and yellow Bell (sweet) peppers, but green ones cause all kinds of bad reactions…

I actually like that trait in her. Used to have a friend in college like that — always with some smart__ comment, always with the witty “burn” — but also, I and my other buddies knew, it was always out of love (if I can use that word) and camaraderie. And it just made it that much sweeter when we could set him up for a little taste of his own medicine, haha! In a weird way, it made the bond between us friends stronger.
