Still, the misuse of “theory” continues to confuse and to use it correctly would be a good idea even after 68 years of it used incorrectly.

Since “theory” is being used in place of ""hypothesis" what word do you use to mean theory then? And again it just adds confusion because you get “evolution is just a theory” idiocy. The best way to fix it is to use it right in all contexts.Using in or out of Science is a must otherwise we get the continuing confusion as you illustrated yourself.

A flat screen TV isn’t much of a bribe anymore since A- that’s all they make and B- they aren’t expensive. Even a new 4g smart TV isn’t too much. He should take the car.

Careful, caretaker Vic! You’re getting sucked into Selfy’s Life of Crime, and (as we all know) the Weed of Crime Bears Bitter Fruit. You could end up in jail, or worse….

An interesting format. Takes some getting used to, but I can adjust. I wonder if he’ll meet Haf-and-Haf at the snake pit?

Just checked out the new site’s beta-test. Interesting format, and it needs some work here and there, but it might work out. Then again, I’ve always tried to be optimistic about a lot of stuff.
