Hmmm…looks like Holly’s place was in her home. The question was whether she was given a slice of heaven or hell?

Worse than pulling her out of some unending hell, would be a heaven. Because they would have to decide to ruin her fantasy. Take her out of the dream life she could have had without the war happening.

A woman’s home is her castle. This serves as Holly’s mind palace, and all we’ve seen have been protective barriers to distract them and keep them out of her mind’s fortress. The Lyn construct was the final obstacle. They’ll find Holly inside, and she’ll be mad because Wally bashed his way in instead of using a key that he always had.

Well, this seems a bit of an anticlimax. All that suffering, uncertainty and angst to land back in a living room? Will we ever get back to Endtown?

Hmmm, this may be the place of choice for Lyn-computer, not Holly. Lyn’s last happy moments with Holly were here

Hmm… As others have implied, it looks very much like the computer-Lyn has decided to give Holly a nice, comforting environment. So, do they decide to haul her outside, even kicking and screaming, for her own good? After all, the evidence shows that sooner or later, she’ll die of starvation if they leave her.

As soon as this portion of the story arc began, I imagined Wally and crew eventually finding Holly in an imaginary world set right; Healthy baby, Loving husband, happy home. What’s the moral thing to do in that circumstance? Leave her be, or rip her out; back into a place of trauma and uncertainty? Does she get a say in how things unfold?

This isn’t the home with the big, black monolith in it, though. Perhaps this is the last “safe” place in Holly’s mind, and the Edmund lets her rest there before making her suffer again.

If this guy thinks he’s Lyn…maybe he’s being nice to Holly. Not feeding on her emotions…being nice…recreating her happy life. Maybe in this, she even had The Baby…

The big question is whether the AI’s Lyn thing has any relation to the real Lyn or just a faint to harvest more emotions. For Wally, Lyn is a rival and a reminder that the parts of his beloved’s life that she never told him about. For Holly, he could be a past love or a reminder of the dreams she lost and her part in losing them. If the fate of others in ditto cocoons is any indication, the computer does not care about the long term survival of its guests.
