Caption: Vote like you're going to have to explain yourself in 20 years.
Caulfield: It's as neutral as I can manage while still being a little pushy.
Frazz: I'd still be proud of that sign in 2036.
Whether I agree with your choices or not, please vote. Too many have died protecting that right for you to ignore or passit by.Though, I have to admit, that I thought about it this time.Congress…Do your job!!!
@x_Tech: The state of the American economy and Soviet expansionism during the Carter/Mondale administration is the only explanation necessary for a Reagan vote.
A great Frazz, a vigorous discussion, and a favorable review by the BigPuma. That’s a good day.One thing though. Puma mentioned “Jaguarundi”. If that’s a commenter I can’t find the name. I know a jaguarundi is a type of jungle cat.Can anyone help? I’d ask Puma himself but he won’t “talk” to me. He considers me a coarse vulgarian because I called him a dick once. Touchy, touchy.Anyone? Jaguarundi?
I want to change our system from one of partisan primaries to a wide-open initial runoff on which everyone marks their top 5 candidates and the top 3 proceed to the main election. Oh, and don’t mark which party any candidate belongs to on the ballot. It’s the only way to keep from having such awful candidates.
The duty to vote is a far greater option considering that there are people out in the world today who have lived there whole lives without any such option.
The New York office of the FBI was investigating Hillary on the basis of a book by an alt-right white-supremacist Breitbart guy. The New York office of the FBI would have been the one that should have been investigating Trump for racketeering and fraud, but didn’t because he was their guy. To those who say Clinton was under investigation, Trump’s long record of defrauding contractors and working with the mafia should have gotten him charged and jailed long ago.

Problem is, with those two you actually can vote for you’d have to explain yourself in 20 years no matter what.

The problem with hindsight is that it is difficult to be honest rather than indulging in defensive rationalization of things.
Admitting that you were wrong is the first step on the path to recovery, or the Road Less Traveled, as I usually call it.

Last time I voted (until today) it was for Reagan. And No I have no explanation.

Jefferson was right, so Vote intelligently not emotionally.

Twenty years? Those of us still around will still be trying to figure out what happened, much less trying to explain.

Not to mention that major fraud trial coming up on the 28th. Not to mention it because the corporate media won’t.

“When in doubt” don’t for anyone or anything you don’t understand, or you’d be part of the problem.
