Before heading off into The Valley sunset, Heather raided Trainer Rick Scott’s bag, copped some Clearasil and looks fabulous for her parting panel shot. No Max Bacon, no Menzie, no BStatWhiz. Cheer up Thorpmeisters. New material arriving soon.
Good for Heather Burns and congratulations to Milford HS on an exciting victory. My thought is Kevin Pelwecki will resurface later, maybe next football season. What I want to know is how the Mudlarks did in girls’ soccer without Heather.
So once more, the school bus moves forward faster than the story and more to the point. P-2: Uh, Gil? Fondling her shoulder won’t work. She’s still wearing her pads. P-3: 150 pounds? How much do those uniforms weigh? 30 pounds?
So they left Heather out of the whole game, waiting for just one play where they would put her in, causing VT to blitz, and at that point run a draw which of course would be unstoppable because a draw against the blitz just can’t be stopped. In the words of Sign Man, STUP-ID!
And speaking of stup-id, you’d be stup-id not to read today’s Mopped Up Thorp: https://moppedupthorp.wordpress.com/
P2, Gil looks a little too grabby to me…now, let’s hit the showers and scrub this story line away
Next up: Kaz recruits Billy Barty’s grandson to run the point, Valley Conference changes rules to accommodate little people, Gil wins another humanitarian award but goes win less in Conference.
Wait — story arcs don’t end in midweek — there has to be some kind of loose end that needs to get tied up. After all, what happened with Plawecki? He never gets a chance to play QB?
yes, Heather gets a game ball as compensation fr destroying any semblance of femininity she might have had as she prepares to go out into the world. Now, there’s a story we can use… wait a minute. This is the same theme I got out of the Menzie saga.

I think a “Heather” chant would sound more like “HEA-THER” than “HEATH-ER”. Also, now I’m in the mood for a Heath Bar.

I thought it would sound more like “Ru-Dy!” “Ru-Dy!” Well this storyline has sputtered down to a complete flat-line. Bring on the hoops.

Heather should start showering with the boys.
After all, she’s “one of them” now!

After all these years – doesn’t Gil know there’s no standing on a moving school bus?

He also should know better than use Heather’s shoulder as an arm rest

Meanwhile, unburdened by a useless midfielder who can’t be arsed to touch a soccer ball, the girls romp to a Valley title.

Do high schools sports have a budget that allows them to give away a game ball?

Former State Champion Gil has once again proved his coaching acumen. From never-played to game ball in a few weeks. GE-NIUS!

Gil thinks better of passing the ball to Heather after not allowing Moose to throw a pass all year.
Gil likes to get all touchy feely whenever there’s a girl around.
It looks like the rear axle might be ready to break from the angle of those 2 rear tires on that bus.
