mmmm…. Piro’s scarf in the dorms’ common room, his backpack in Tiffany’s dorm… coincidence? perhaps

Circumstantial evidence continues to mount.

More and more, it looks like Piro has been crashing in Tiffany’s suite while she was at her father’s house. Still doesn’t solve the mystery of the missing TV, though. This is the first time I can remember the new cartoon showing up here before it showed up at ArcaMax…

Uh oh Piro, we just KNEW it!! I don’t think she was always at dad’s house while he crashed either. She wants to hide it/him too much. But seeing as how both Bernice and Tiffany have an apparently intense emotional tie to Piro, and TIffany maybe more, it should be interesting if/when Bernice sees Piro in the room, very interesting.

WHO didn’t see that coming?

Tiffany seem like she has one foot in her grave by helping out Piro lets hope he gets the boot

I remember Piro displayed no interest when Tiffany sashayed around to attract him away from Bernice and make Bernice available for Gunther (unless that was all staged to hide a relationship). So where are we now? My crystal ball is in for repairs.

Bernice spots the backpack from the hallway, and the campus cop couldn’t determine something was out of whack even if Piro was sitting on top of the lampshade. Holding a TV.

Will Bernice need a warrant? Tune in tomorrow. Or the next day. Maybe Monday. Perhaps Tuesday…

I thought it was pretty nice that Bernice came to check on Tiff..

Hopefully this will start to cure Bernice of her Piro obsession, though she may go pirotechnic before she totally moves on.

Actually, as the RA Bernice has every right to question Tiffany about the backpack and find out if she’s been letting Piro crash in her room.

So… Tiffany’s ‘cover up’ problem… Plus Bernice’s ‘cover up’ problem… Two people with two different backgrounds…. Nothing in common. Except that they both have something in common. Two people hiding things… And neither one likely has any idea about the other.

Except now, Bernice’s curiosity (and likely fear of campus security activities) is getting the better of her. Is her nose leading her into more trouble than she was in, on her own, with her “withholding evidence”? Is she drawing herself, as one commenter previously said, into a deeper web?

Piro wanted to watch tv in Tiff’s room, and figured no one would notice/care it missing during the semester break.(maybe I’m stating the obvious)

If Bernice were a super hero, it’d be “Piro-ette”. Cos her “Piro senses” are always kicking in, some how, some way!

as much as Bernice likes Paris (Tiffany), something tells me she’s about to find another reason to like her even more. Even if she isn’t doing Piro, which we all know. And it looks we are all about to be disappointed by him, Bernice included. man…. : – \only thought of him as a troll, not a thief. this better be good, Karen & Greg.

Whoa. Nascent narcissist Tiffany, actually cared enough about the welfare of another person to bend the rules, and allowed a poor and possibly homeless person to use her room over winter break? Character growth. Maybe we’ll see more character depth develop in Tiffany.

So, umm.. how did Tiffany get ito the building if she didn’t have her card?

I think something is rotten in Denmark, but not the television. I think Piro doesn’t live in the dorm and Tiffany is hiding him.

Still thinking this is a poorly thought out effort by Tiffany to do Piro some good, as opposed to any romantic interest. Doesn’t seem to be match-making or she would have clued in Bernice. This new arc is fun.

Just what we needed: a female Sherlock. She deserves her own show!

@MORDY/MOOSE: Gunther has a picture of his future, and it includes a significant other who is ‘intellectual’ and academically oriented. That’s why he’s fixated on Bernice, even though he feels physically attracted to Tiffany. SO, if he wants a Bernice-type of person, he would not be interested in Luann. Luann can work hard on her classwork when she wants to, and has a number of skills (art, music, ability to work with kids), but she isn’t the academically oriented type…

The drama continues…. and it is fun and intriguing. This is one of my favorite story lines in several weeks!

Im surprised there is a common room TV; At my daughter’s university, they removed them because the dorm rooms are all wired for cable and internet

Bernice jumps to conclusions on spotty evidence. We are accepting that she is correct about the backpack and the scarf.

Please…Just get on with this story line. It is boring!

Tiff might hedge on an answer, but I don’t want to believe that she would outright lie. There is an old Harry Potter bumper sticker in my garage that says, “Trust Snape”, I feel the same way about Tiffany. I’m still hoping to see Rosa or Crystal hiding in her room. The backpack could hold clothes or Gunther’s baby’s little kid things.

Is this a continuation of Tiff the Gunth/Bern matchmaker? Or Round One of the Great Dorm Catfight?@JPUZZLEWHIZ Thanx for the tip.

Assuming it is Piro, I hope this is the arc that lets us know more about him as a person.

Piro + zero = zero. Greg has developed a revolving door for new characters……..they come in, fall flat, and go out, again. Seriously, can anybody tell me if any of the new characters really appeal to you? The only one that actually amused me was the shuttle driver in Peru who ended up driving a cab in New York (I think it was NY). Happy Chinese New Year, folks….I gotta’ go out and find me a dragon parade and beat on one of those fancy little drums, with all the streamers. Tsi gen.

If that is supposed to be Piro’s backpack, it doesn’t really look like it. Compare the backpack seen at http://www.gocomics.com/luann/2015/10/19 with the one yesterday at http://www.gocomics.com/luann/2017/01/26. They’re different colors.

Maybe that’s an error by the colorist, or maybe not. I don’t know.

This is really really slow. Come on lets get it moving. Boring segment. LOL
