At the risk of sounding repetitive from last Wednesday’s panel, I am going to say “There can be only one!” Highlander. Original movie of course, all the sequels sucked.
I require my movies to be at least slightly humorous to qualify for BEST EVER, so my list must include “Young Frankenstein”, “Blazing Saddles”, “Airplane” and the like, as well as “M.A.S.H.” and “The Odd Couple”!
The Empire Strikes Back…. The Wrath of Khan…. From Russia With Love…. She Wore a Yellow Ribbon…. American Graffiti…. Hunt for Red October…. On the Beach… (heck, I can’t even narrow it down to three!)
Casablanca, Singin’ in the Rain, To kill a Mockingbird, To have and have not, Key Largo, He Who Gets Slapped, Wings (the 1928 original), The Big Clock, Ninotchka, Foreign Correspondent, too many to choose, have to get back to work…

“The Empire Strikes Back” was better, though I acknowledge that with no Star Wars there would be no Empire.

You would have to classify them by types to do that. Leave out too many movies otherwise.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail, it’s really no contest. And nobody has suggested anything better.
