I hate to get pedantic, but Schrodinger’s actual point was the the logic of quantum mechanics was flawed, since the cat obviously cannot be both dead and alive. If your conclusion is absurd, your premises are faulty. That was his point.
Actually, spiritual awakening can have the duality addressed by Schrödiger. Where is it in the Bible, the guy sez to Jesus, “Lord I believe; help me in my unbelief.”?
Whether or not Schrodinger’s cat is dead or alive has no effect on the rest of the Universe – until the box s opened. It is only when the box is opened does that effect come about.
A particle can be in two quantum states at the same time (actually, in many quantum states). Usually this is on the scale of a a subatomic particle, but could be a sampling of radioactive material with a given probability of decaying at a given time.
If those quantum states have a macroscopic (large scale) effect, say whether or not a vial of poison kills a cat, the macroscopic item can have more than one state. The cat can be both dead and alive until we know better.
Thus an item could be lost and found at the same time, dead and alive, yes and no. This really comes in handy in quantum computing because just a few quantum bits are needed to solve problems normal computers would need billions of years to solve. We don’t understand it, but CAN use what the math indicates.
“Just remember that there is only a known speed limit for light, not for matter.”
But AT the speed of light, any particle containing rest mass has infinite mass and infinite energy, so getting past that point is hard when you can’t get to that point without collapsing the universe.

Pretty good….
What is, is not.
What is not, is.

I wonder what the poster named Schrodinger’s Dog would have to say about this?

right, the cats dead OR alive. I can’t see your grandmother, does that mean she is in both states

Heisenberg is pulled over by a cop while driving down the interstate.
The cop says “Do you know how fast you were going back there?”
He replies “No, but I knew where I was.”

Thank goodness for The Big Bang Theory or I wouldn’t have a clue what this strip’s about.
