Cyberbully Number 1. Would you accept this kind of behavior from your children. According to polls, about 35% – 40% of Americans think that trash talking on social media is acceptable behavior for a so-called adult.
This would be a wonderful cartoon strip if politics were left out of it. I dislike the author’s political persuasion so much I think about scratching it from my list almost every day.
No one could seriously believe that Trump is truthful unless they are as deranged as he is. There are people who voted for him and are so full of koolaid that they are still believing whatever he says, even when every other source proves that he is lying. I don’t know if they will ever come down from that koolaid high. Must be more powerful than heroin.
I find it amazing that those who had supported Donald Trump and still do are able through no one’s will but their own use their fingers to troll the comments section of a strip whose content they know could blast the man on any given day, and stick those same fingers in their ears singing “Lalalalalala” at the same time. These are the people who continue to attack political figures who are hardly in the political scene anymore while complaining about those who didn’t fall in line verbally attacking the current occupant of the White House despite the fact that previous occupants from either major party faced such consistent treatment in modern history. These are the people who continue to attack the credibility of reputed media sources while failing to provide credible sources of their own other than the man they support saying so despite the fact that he has a proven record of consistently lying, as well as those who work and lie for him. These are the people who condone bigotry, misogyny, violence and crass as the new rules of acceptable behavior in this country while condemning those who give them tastes of their newly condoned rules. I believe that ignorance can be cured with education; but the willful ignorance of such people, who allow and even find pleasure in inflicting harm and despair on their fellow countrymen by supporting a man who inherited wealth and power but learned none of the responsibility and the lawmakers with him who seek to ruin so many lives through veiled misconceptions of faith-turned-dogma including the lives of said supporters, cannot be seen as patriotic but as subhuman. If those who continue to support the actions and behavior of Trump cannot recognize the consequences of this support, how can the the rest of the country and the world be expected to see this nation as a beacon for freedom anymore?
The difference between Trump having the launch codes and Hillary having the launch codes is Trump would launch them at our enemies and Hillary would launch them at us.
I love this comic strip. It is intelligent and thought-provoking at the same time it is funny. I also love editorial cartoons, regardless of which side they land on. When we get to the point where we can’t have discourse without emotions getting in the way, or can’t laugh at ourselves, we are headed for trouble.

But Eddie has a lot more class, and doesn’t disrespect the ladies, and there is a difference between his myths and outright lies.

Satire is dead. Twitter is the new toilet paper to write on. Comedians can’t satirize what is already real life. They have not much to nothing.

Somehow there is more truth to Eddie’s stories than our President.

At least Eddie, and HIS stories, are entertaining, and well drawn..
