Writing tomorrow’s news story, I see. Even Elvis is being jollied along.

The final speech balloon calls to mind the trope of the lone individual who sees the ghost or angel or giant talking rabbit when no one else does… or who is aware of the fact that her cats are journalists though she seldom lets on to them and never to other humans about such a thing. No, I’m perfectly aware that this is not the intent here, but it would be an interesting parallel universe take on the situation. Just as it would be fun to see the parallel world version of “Gone With the Wind” wherein Scarlett and Rhett were portrayed by Lucille Ball and Groucho Marx.

I have to comment again. I’ve just looked at the strip for the fourth or fifth time. The only thing that gives me more warm, fuzzy feeling is curling up with one or both of our guys. Georgia, this is just beautiful, a perfect description of the relationship between us and our best friends.

LOL… Elvis still has his “angry” face on in the second panel, but then it’s gone when the woman caresses him under his chin in panel 3.

OMC, I love this strip SO MUCH! Thank you, Georgia! You and the good boys are getting me through some very tough times.
