Jaquan sure has one big noggin in P3. I’m surprised he’s being so modest. He doesn’t mention his TV career, playing a guest star on the original Star trek series: http://media.aintitcool.com/media/legacy/images2009/talosian.jpg
How about we talk about how Universities use those ‘hot’ commodities without payment? They should at least be required to buy insurance policies payable if the athlete has a career threatening injury.
I had a couple of high school teammates who either didn’t play football or who quit football to protect their baseball careers. Both had successful careers thanks to baseball. I doubt either of them regret the decision to not play football.
In all reality , Old Dad jumps up and says Good Gawd , if Cutler can get $10 million for one season , how could a gimpy ex NBA player make if tried to become an NFL player , think about it JQuad or whatever your name is !
Whiz, this has to be a set up…you’re trying to flush me out of my cushy summer lair of indifference with what may be your most inane comment ever…and that’s saying a lot given your vast book of lameness. To quote John McEnroe are you serious?? Great story? Then again, I think you were a big supporter of the peacock drivel were you not?I hope me wishing that your health problems are behind you (yes, I said it) doesn’t take away from my role as your probation officer but c’mon man, there is no way I can hold my fire here.As I have said before, I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

The real reason he quit is that he stank.

LOTS of injuries in basketball, too…but fewer concussions I would guess.

Lebron James also played football (wideout) early in his high school career. Press conference to announce “The Decision” coming up soon.

GilPa should contact Herc and Hairy Hercules to invoke his long awaited rematch clause in hope of pushing this commodity of errors off to the side.

Good morning, Thorpians!
Great story, so far. Rubin and Whigham continue to improve, and I hope they can keep it up.

P1, Heather, "Really, me too!
Jaquan, “Well why did you quit?”
Heather, " I was a senior and my grades were too good to get held back."
P2, Jaquan, “I was so awful I had to quit. I was a real embarrassment.”
P3, So , you stuck with basketball and blew your knee out anyway.

Sure, Starfish, eight years into a NBA career. A whole lot longer than the average NFL player manages to get before injuries sideline them for good.

Oh no, my dumb prediction is starting to look like it will come true? He’s going to end up with an NFL team?

P-1: Understanding J’s level of intelligence, Heather crooks her arm as sign language for football.
P-2: Typical response from a junkie. J’s “got a basketball jones” (loved that song)
P-3: Commodity?? Oh, you mean like ketchup and mustard ?

So the Hot Topic for this arc is going to be how dangerous football is for kids and CTE. And how parents are switching their kids to soccer.
