Squid

Eggplant
And
Kale
I guess Paige did not see the periods between the acronyms’ letters at first. (Who came up with these school lunch menus anyway? The school board?)
Loose Objects Boiled, Stewed, Torn, n’ Roasted?
Mmm, ingredients. I love those in my food.
Similar to the artificial taste-flavored eating substance that was called hamburgers at my high school.
You know it’s bad when the lunch lady is telling you to bring your own sack lunch.
Didn’t Amend do a strip like this a long time ago?
My HS would, once a month each, serve chicken fried steak, country fried steak, breaded pork, and breaded veal sandwiches.
They were all the same thing, and under no name were they either tasty or edible. (Put some red stuff & fake cheese on it & it became a pizzaburger)
I guess things really have gone downhill at our schools these days. Our lunch-ladies excelled at pizza, Salisbury steak, whipped potatoes and fish sticks with french fries.
In many school cafeterias (cafeterii?) when one sticks a fork into the meat one wonders if one will hear a meow, bark or neigh.
How about the acronym G.M.O.?
So, P.I.Z.Z.A. is an acronym for “Slop in a bowl”?
modified rerun
Lard. Oyster. Beaten. Squid. Tire. Eel. Radish
They don’t even give you a hint as to what the “processed ingredients” are.
We know what steak is, forxtrot 1998/11/16, but lobster is Liquid Oxygen on top of Blue Sauerkraut, Treated with Edible Rats.
