Why does Bernice uttering the word foo-foo scare me?

So, the lingerie party to which none of them have been invited has been magically transformed into some kind of therapy session. Tara will discover that Luann has a wild side. Tiffany will overcome her depression over her father’s new girlfriend. Who would have guessed lingerie had such curative properties?

Luann this is why you never ever had an actual friendship with tiff (even though I thought you would by the end of this arc) because you keep on saying little mean things about her. Vain and frivolous is “perfect”, come on now, this isn’t middle school anymore. Try actually saying nice things about tiff and it might get you somewhere.

It sounds like Luann, Tara, Tiffany, Des, and possibly Bernice, might all decide to go to the lingerie party. But Luann has only gotten Les to put her and Tara on the list, so far. Wonder how all of this will play out?

So has anyone actually invited Bernice yet?

Tiff would be more at home in that lingerie show than Borenice would ever be.

Should be interesting if they all go. As I have been saying, and I think Anyface agrees with me, there is going to be a very amazing convergence of arcs coming hopefully by Christmas. Tara is the key to bring the Luann and Bernice, and Dez, and maybe Tiffany together with Ann, Les, and who knows else. Comedy drama and misdirection will ensue for sure. As I say, “stay tuned”.

Perhaps Tiff will be scouted at the party, and become a plus-sized model. She used to model, she’s plus-sized….. it all fits.

Greg could run another one of those contests like where the readers submitted wedding dress designs. This time, the readers could submit designs for lingerie for the cast, including Knute…

As much as I’m awaiting Ann’s latest scheme blowing up in her face somehow, what I’m really hoping for is for Luann and all her Plus Ones to get turned away from the lingerie party for not being pre-approved. Hell, this isn’t even the first time Luann has pulled this “get an invite for yourself but bring a whole bunch of people” crap on Les. Remember that business dinner when he ended up footing the bill for her whole family? Someone really needs to call Luann out on this garbage.

YES! Perfect therapy for Tiffany. It will motivate her to lose weight and look good in the lingerie. Post her fattie picture and hang her new lingerie on her fridge. For Gunther, of course.

calling it right now, they might find out EXACTLY what kind of party it is ( if they allowed in ), and even if they not allowed in, Tiff finds out Ann is the name of new GF of Dad and that Les might become the step brother of her

Technical request to all posters:

Some people have occasionally been posting long strings of characters without a word break (space). A prime example is a long string of “ZZZ…”.

I’m not complaining about the general practice or its intent. If you’re bored or annoyed by someone’s comment, “ZZZ…” may be an appropriate response.

But the problem comes with very long strings of any character(s) without a space. Maybe 100-200 characters for example. What this does is stretch all text areas on the entire page horizontally, to accommodate the “ZZZ…” string on a single line. If your “Z” comment is in a reply thread, the whole page stretches when that thread is opened. If the “Z” comment is in the main thread, all text is stretched from the start.

The result is that others posters’ comments are squeezed up to a single line, or a few lines, forcing readers to scroll horizontally to see the comments. But the comments are intended to wrap on word breaks, to keep the longer comments in a nice readable column.

I’d respectfully suggest limiting such strings to about 30 characters. If you want to do even more for emphasis, just put a space between each 30-character “word”. This might, for example, result in 10 consecutive lines, each one with 30 Zs. I think that would get the intent across.

Even though you might think of this as annoying the poster who annoyed you, it is also annoying every poster reading the comments, including some who may agree with your sentiments.

In fairness, the site programmers could fix this by setting a maximum width for text areas, and forcing breaks in long text strings. But to date, they haven’t. So I’d suggest playing nice in consideration of other readers.

There’s nothing more and frivolous than seeing a chunky girl in lingerie. Heck-fire, why the heck not?!

So when the heck are they going to find out that Ann Eiffel is involved in this? And if Tiffany is feeling insecure about her looks I’d think a lingerie party being run by a snippy, sarcastic enemy of Luann’s gang would be the LAST place she’d want to be.

That makes sense. You have a friend who is dealing with depression by overeating and putting on a lot of weight, you take her to a lingerie party. Why does that NOT seem like the best thing to do? Assuming that there really is a lingerie party going on…..

Maybe Tiffany will meet her father’s new girlfriend at the lingerie party? Maybe his new girlfriend is Ann Eiffel? Maybe Gunther is designing lingerie for the party and Tiffany? Tune in next week. Same time, same channel.

I am hoping that we have a confrontation with Ann at the Fuse before the next party, so that everyone NOT invited to the lingerie party can have time to plan their commando raid.

Even if Tara is the only one going to it commando.

Crystal might enjoy the lingerie party, too, as long as we’re expanding the guest list. Maybe she could even design a Goth line.

There is nothing vain or frivolous about buying underwear at a party. It’s not any worse that buying Tupperware or jewelry or kitchen tools at a party.

TAKE HER THE CARD already!

Everything that will happen at the second party is what I wanted to happen at the first party.

Except the Four Musketeers will make it much more fun.

Ann is running some kind of illegal scheme at The Fuse. Tiffany is probably skinny again, since she gave up all the junk food awhile ago with the encouragement of Gunther. Speaking of Gunther, I wonder if he ever went home?

Luann does seem rather harsh in agreeing with Bernice. Tiff is going through some tough stuff with her parents. Luann meawhile is worrying about…why her undies arn’t getting her more guys? If putting on a few pounds is the price Tiffs paying, it’s not too bad. Nice adulting Tiff, pritty shallow Luann.

Bern is the anti-Tiff!

1. Deliver the card from the kids to Tiffany.

2. Go to the so-called Lingerie Party, but without attempting to drag Tiff along.

3. Finally reveal just what kind of scam Annie Awful and sweet son Leslie are really running at the after-hours Fuse….

Luann, in the last panel, seems oblivious to the fact that Tiff is not the same as she once was, or maybe she’s just reverting back to the Tiffany bashing of earlier times.

Wait until Tiffany meets her future stepmother there, hosting the party…
