In other news, I’m loving my 2018 BCN calendar – the January drawing with Tommy interviewing the ice skating birds is especially timely with the monster storm headed to New England and the east coast today. Brrrrrr.
Lupin’s face in panel 2 is priceless, I wish I had a fraction of that energy :) Mine are always up on the shelves too though they tend not to knock everything off
Please stay safe and warm ( or safe and cool in the Southern Hemisphere ). If you want to make a good warm, water resistant feral cat shelter, go on youtube to " Cole and Marmalade " their human makes an easy one for about $25 US. Not Every neighborhood has a Tommy.
Still no Gentleman, and I haven’t seen Dixie since Monday evening, but I did get a nice surprise yesterday. One of my former ferals came by the house with his new owner (of about a year, but I still think of him as “my” boy) while I was out feeding the colony. Rumer is definitely a success story – he absolutely loves his family and has become a devoted lap-kitty. He was full of purrs and head bumps the entire time we were talking.
Hopefully, this will be our last negative number morning for at least a little while. Guess I’d take the cold stillness to the pounding the British Isles expect! :-( >^.,.^<
Warm & toasty orb bumps to all those in the cold parts! Cool & pleasant for the world’s flipside! >^.,.^<
Happy Whiskerday and Hump Day to all my fellow Cataholics out there! Yum Yum is an invisible lump under the covers on the bed, so it must be really chilly out.
Looks more like pullups than chinups. He’d have to be in heck of good shape to do 100 of either, though! It hurts my rotator cuff too much to even attempt one.
Day 10 of the flu and stomach virus for me but I’m getting better. My husband has had it for a week now and is in the hospital in critical care because he is also a diabetic and his blood sugar went crazy. Stomach virus + wheelchair = unbelievable mess. He is sedated for the next few days so they could give him a breathing tube. I’ve been trying to get the house dis-infected before he comes home. Lilly keeps looking for him then wanting to come sit on me and ask where he is. I’m just glad she’s doing fine. Sorry for the tmi but this is the first that I’ve had the strength to use the computer for several days.

Lupin’s so helpful – pushing all the books to the floor so he can be encouraging by putting his paw in the Man’s eye.

next workout – squats (picking up the books and putting them back on the shelf).

Super impressed, man! I’ve never managed to do a single chin up in my life! Maybe I just lacked proper feline encouragement…

The Man is so wonderfully gentle with Lupin! Any man who loves kitties would rate an A-1 in my book!
Leanne about 7 years ago
Love Lupin helpfully pointing out all the books he pushed off! He’s very proud of himself.

Attaboy Lupin! Positive reinforcement! Gotta push all the books out of the way to be there for the Man!

I wonder if Lupin has made a resolution to push more books onto the floor this year?

Pushed all the books to the floor. Of course you did. Ah, Lupin.

Well, Lupin did need steps to get up on top of the bookcase. Cats must look at humans doing exercises this time of the year as the “winter crazies.”

It’s always great when our kitties go out of their way to “help” us.

Either the page for the Pins was wrong yesterday or they found more Tommy Pins because he is back on the page today.
