I love the drama in this shot !!!

Great entrance, but, hopefully Tracy’s gun won’t prove to be an equally great conductor.

Tracy’s at the top of his game! Curtains for Bribery!

Well, I guess this shoots the theory that Joie Packet will escape from Earth. But it does appear that he’s going to escape death once again.

Now THAT is what I call making an entrance….

Wow, this is going down faster than we expected!

Tracy’s gun should be a revolver from the way he’s holding it. A semi-auto will take the left thumb off if he fires it. Better hand placement is under the gun. I will never forget the first time I tried to fire a semi-auto like that. Still have two parallel scars across the top of my thumb.

Do it, Tracy!

‘’Bribery, you’re under arrest for shoving that poor jogger in front of a minibus a few strips back!’’

How did Tracy crash through that wood and glass without getting a scratch on him?

TRACY: “HANDS UP BRIBERY!”

BRIBERY: “DICK TRACY?”

TRACY: “No, just a reasonable facsimile. You’re under arrest!”

BRIBERY: “Can I finish torturing these Lunarians first?”

TRACY: (pulling a stop watch out of his trenchcoat pocket) “Well… ok, fine.. but make it quick. The donut shoppe closes in 30 minutes.”

BRIBERY: (turning his attention to Frankenmindy and Grandpappy Moon Doggie) “TAKE THAT, YOU LYING MOON CREATURES!”

LEE EBONY: (entering the scene) “YE GODS! What’s going on in here?”

BRIBERY: (turning to Lee, then looking to Tracy) “YOU’RE DONE FOR NOW TRACY! T-BOLT, TAKE HIM OUT!”

LEE AND TRACY: “Silly rabbit! She’s a cop!”

BRIBERY: (turning the ring on himself) “NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!”

(Bribery grabs a rose from his coat pocket and puts it in his teeth as the the MCU slaps the cuffs on him, upon exiting he sees Ugly Crystal chilling (lol, couldn’t resist) with Honeymoon)

BRIBERY: “My plan would have worked too, if it wasn’t for those meddling kids!”

Bribery: “You wouldn’t shoot a man with glasses, would you?”

Tracy: “No, I’d shoot him with a gun!”

Fantastic one panel action sequence!!

Us old timers will be immediately put in mind of Tracy’s original takedown of Bribery in a similar manner back in late 1966. Only then he was holding a revolver and crashed through the window in an air car. Bribery was about to use a knife on his secretary (who he believed had betrayed him) instead of using a power ring.

Excellent single-panel action! Tracy arrests Bribery, as the criminal tosses some serious zappage at the Governor and Mysta. That they have suffered together may well mark the beginning of an important friendship.

Bribery looks like he’s seen a ghost!!

Yes!! This is the strip, we’ve been waiting for! Get him, Tracy! I want to see Bribery in chains!

At long last ! The scene that all Tracy fans have been waiting for !

First, a big shout out to Joe Staton for some GREAT artwork here!!! Second, so “Bribery’s” off to prison….where he’ll bribe his way out….if he doesn’t manage to bribe a judge first, lol.

Where’d Dick come from. Hope Old Bribes doesn’t get out of prison through that hole he left 50 years ago when he plummeted to earth.

Bribery had better believe it’s Tracy, or eat lead again! Mysta Chimera and Moon Governor desperately need relief from the torture Bribery is inflicted on them with his mysterious “power ring”! Of course, I am somewhat curious to see that Bribery’s office lair is on the ground floor of his hideout-building; I had imagined it being higher up. But Tracy had no means to crash through anything higher than a ground floor window (armored with his sturdy yellow trench coat and fedora).

Now, the rescue of Crystal moves up on the agenda, and the pursuit and capture or demise of Sawtooth!

Speakin’ of which….

“So am I. I did ask earlier today. But so far no response. I don’t know what did it. Every time Great Big Lobo insults me I red flag him. Charlie mentioned something he wrote and I wrote in response both disappearing. Otherwise I have no idea.(They usually are not fast on this.) I was wondering what would happen when the Internet was opened to become like the cable tv is now. This maybe just the start. But really I have no answers at this time.”
