Of Moon Maid’s heroic deed

“Life sign”? Is it a Star Trek tricorder? What exactly can the wrist wizard do?

I suppose that it might mean that it has an infrared sensor that detects Crystal’s body heat.

She needs to turn up the juice !

Here’s hoping Junior’s Wrist Wizard can hone in on Honeymoon’s.

So, the Wrist Wizard detects signs of life! If I remember right, the Medical Tricorder on the original Star Trek series had that capability.

Beautiful job of colouring today by Shane Fisher! The cold blue colours evoke a mood and you can almost feel the cold temperatures and the desperation.

I was looking some old strips and this contrasts with the truly horrific coloration of the first few weeks after the current team took over. I know they were trying to provide some continuity with recent strips at the time, but I’m glad they abandoned such schemes.

Now this will go down in the history books. Honey is doing just what her biological mother did so many years ago. Beautiful ending to this strip and this story.

BTW it’d be interesting to see what became of the girl who Mysta saved as well. Maybe something for a later strip?

I just got it. “Ugly” Crystal is going to be taken in not by Ruby, not by Honeymoon’s family, but by B.O. and Gertie! That’s why they have Junior and Sparkle leaving town for a vacation and having the Plentys babysit their kids.

Am I the only one who’s not convinced that the Bribery story is wrapping up? If Matty Squared to take over Rikki Mortis’s systems, “he” is certainly potent enough to manipulate his own environment enough to help Bribery escape.If not now, he could hack into Bribery’s prison later to get him out — perhaps even, going back to his original prison escape, by eventually finding and taking over the “lost” Space Coupe and sending it to the prison roof.So I suspect this isn’t the end of the story, but at most the curtain on Act II, setting up the end to the “trilogy”.

Honeymoon finds and rescues Crystal (most people call her Ugly Crystal) for the moment; now, Junior Tracy has to hurry and help solidify the rescue before the cold solidifies Crystal!

Meanwhile, on the other side of the hill, the wrap-up of the apprehension of Mr. Bribery is taking place; I hope we get to see at least some of it this coming week, or, at a minimum, a “recap” conversation among the MCU back at HQ….
