It’s like hearing a balloon being rubbed. Some people don’t care about it. Meanwhile, I tend to go into hiding if I ever hear that TERRIBLE sound…

I dunno-made of bat wings and act like paper locusts (in Elvis’s defense, those things do seem to multiply but maybe that’s just me eating so many at a time)- maybe Elvis is right to try and save Pucky from their evil influence.

Hummmm, a side of Elvis I didn’t need to know. Elvis, beating up your housemates is not a good long term solution to any problem.

What I want to know is did the Woman get any chocolate before the Boys starting arguing about the paper wrappers? And who got the bow? Are we going to see that on Lupin’s head? I think it would look cute with his heart mug.

If they’re like my boys then a major wrassling match is about to start (that’s wrestling with chomping and kicking). If Puck retaliates, Elvis is in a heap of trouble :)

Elvis slapped the wrapper out of Puck’s paw—though it looks much worse. Yes, wrappers bring misery to all.

So felines get misophonia? Poor Elvis! I know the feeling all too well and recommend sitting by a nice, humming heater vent to get some white noise and drown out the nasty noises.

Puck, the science is settled. Look at the chart.

But I will point out that it isn’t a candy wrapper. It’s the paper bat-wing cup that chocolates come in.

Yay! Another informative and wonderful chart! Made of bat wings, paper locusts! Ha! Looks like one got away and stung both Elvis and Pucky. I wonder where Lupin is.

I don’t think Elvis slapped Pucky as everyone seems to be assuming . . they both look like they’ve been given a harsh slap and methinks it has to be the bat-winged paper locust! Elvis wouldn’t hurt a fly . . a July bug perhaps, but never a fly. ;p

I looked at this twice, once after the comments. I too thought at first that Elvis had hit Puck in the face but upon further examination I see that it is the breeze from Elvis slapping the batwing menace out of Puck’s paw that ruffled Puck’s fur. So hopefully no tooth and claw wrestling match will commence. But I do love the chart and Burt’s crawl…another fine scientific explanation of a natural phenomena.

Forget the sound. Has no one noticed that paper locusts made of bat wings have a delicious chocolatey aroma?

yesterday my Lexus, decided it was chase the sun day. I have a reflective dragonfly hanging in the window and it sends out moving spots, and it’s the time of year where the sun has returned to this window. I wonder if today will be just as fun!

It’s funny how some cats will respond to sounds differently. I had one cat that absolutely went nuts whenever she heard bagpipes! And, all three of the cats that I have now can’t stand the sound of tinfoil.

Good morning and happy Tuesday (Bluesday?), fellow BCN orbsters and orbabies. Elvis, that was some slap at Puck’s paper candy wrapper, I have the feeling you may get walloped in retaliation. Please think kind thoughts for Paul today, he has one of his rare migraines (which usually end up in a bad seizure), and is trying to sleep it off.

I just love Georgia’s take on cat’s perceptions, it seems so much more realistic than common non-cat owners, who seem to think animals have human thoughts and emotions.

I love the Pucky… but in this instance I must agree with Elvis… “a grating sound that brings misery to all who hear it”… I too am noise sensitive ;-)

Fascinating—right now (12:20PM Pacific) I don’t have a Bonus Strip. I’m not sure if it’s better to have it or not have it. For myself, it’s kinda nice, but I’ve seen every version of every strip that’s so far appeared. For someone newish, easily could be a problem.

Tomorrow I intend to bred paper locus by eating chocolate!

I’ve been trying to post a comment about a cat with an aversion to a particular sound for the last eight hours and it won’t go through.
