It won’t work. Every cat knows that you put the good water in your glass and the regular stuff in their bowl.

Remember, Arlo, it’s you and Janet who bought the cat—

You give your cat bathroom water?!?! No wonder Ludie drinks the kitchen water on the nightstand.

Use a cup with a lid or a bottle with a cap. Beats tripping and spilling the water from the bowls.

Maybe its protection from being interrupted for what Arlo has planned.

I really dislike being awakened by the cat slurping water from my glass. A water bottle or a glass with a lid really helps. My glass of ice water is kept in the bathroom. She dislikes ice and the only thing that wakes me is when she wants me to know that it’s 4:00 in the morning. No idea what I’m supposed to do about that.

My cat likes to wash her feet in my water. I use a cup with a snap cap.

To cats, all things belong to the cat.

Ha! This strip, out of all of them, consistently gives me a belly laugh each day. Bravo!

I watched Mom’s cat drink a whole glass of milk once. Stuck her paw into the milk, licked the paw, repeat, repeat. Took a while but she was persistent.

A month or so ago my wife set a bowl of ice cream on the side table near the sofa. She briefly left the room and when she returned Prince was on the arm of the sofa enjoying “his” bowl of ice cream. He must have thought it was an odd place to set his treat. Ah, us humans: our cats just can’t find ways to train us properly.

My friend was moving to FL and was making special efforts to prepare to bring the cat along. I suggested, “Why don’t you just sell the cat and buy another one when you get down there?” She did not think that was a good idea.

I’m not a cat owner. Why does he have 2 bowls of water?

Because he wanted them! Our bunny has two, because he “needs them”. Good enough for us!

My cat will go to the bathroom door and meow…..until I let her in…she hops on the sink and waits for me to turn on the water….her own private water fountain

I used to have that problem with my cat until I learned to use a small lidded mason jar instead of an open glass.

Our late Persian, Tabitha, would wait for me to get a glass of iced tea. She wanted to lick the condensation off the side and bottom of the glass. My job was to hold the glass until she was finished. #catshavestaff
