So many supporters of the treasonous Liar-in-Chief will be hurt by his policies yet support him without fail anyway. No sympathy for them at all but unfortunately we all have to pay.

Those MAGA hats are the latter day equivalent of Klan hoods, and it’s reasonable to regard them with contempt. Moreover, the Mark of the Beast is no longer 666, it’s MAGA.

Trump is just plain mean and crazy. That rankles intelligent people, they dislike the evil orange monkey destroying their future and the world.

There is enough food and land for everyone if people would just cooperate we could take care of everyone.

If the left, could put aside, logical, long term, critical, results-based thinking, and “diversity is OK” philosophy for a moment and go with their uninformed gut feelings … the GOP and the resident’s policies would not seem so bad, would they?

NO everybody is NOT ENTITLED to HEALTHCARE. You need to work for it! That is what is wrong, to many people feel entitled and don’t want to have to work for it or to scrape to make ends meet like those before us did. They want the Democratic Socialism way of having somebody else pay for everything they want.

The more govt is involved, the worse it gets. Want proof? Obama Care!

Economic Inequality? Yep, that’s called capitalism. Everybody has the chance to succeed and everybody has the chance to fail.

Yep, corporations should pay their FAIR SHARE. DD Wiz doesn’t like it but a flat tax on everything except food up to $100 per item, clothing up to $150 per item, and all medical care is fair. It does not penalize the poor as the rich pay more tax when they spend more PLUS it doesn’t penalize savings as the current system does. Everybody recognizes this country has one of the lowest savings rates of major countries but no we insist on penalizing savers. Eliminate the loop holes the rich employ by a flat tax. Encourage success, encourage saving.

Socialism is the current Robbing Hood method of taking from the rich and giving to the poor. A flat tax encourages people to “Do it the old fashioned way, earn it!” Liberals are too busy with socialism taking from workers and giving to others. I will not apologize for being old fashioned for working for a living and expecting others to do so also. I have a hard enough time supporting my family without supporting others.

Socialism fails when you run out of other peoples money!

I guess the trumpsters who call themselves Christian don’t watch the PBS News Hour— “The children did not have shoes or blankets in the detention center, and there were people in the cells that had to sleep standing up. They did not have enough to eat…” This is trump’s zero tolerance policy in action. It was unveiled in April 2018 by Stephen Miller, whose ancestors were immigrants.

I find it bizarre that some are still saying that poor and middle-class Americans are not entitled to healthcare. The US is the only industrialized country in the world that does not have universal healthcare. If you would feel more comfortable in a place that doesn’t have it, maybe you should move to Rhodesia. I hear they don’t have it there.

I take this time to point out that the idea that everyone should vote may have some unrecognized flaws.

Generally speaking, those who want to get out the vote assume the people who have to be persuaded will agree and vote with them. Those who oppose tend to think people who would disagree should be discouraged.

An interesting example which comes to mind is related to the fact that inmates tend to be politically conservative.

I agree with the Democrats on all points listed, but I cannot abide the wanton slaughter of children in utero, confining freedom of religion to houses of worship, nor open borders, hence I continue to vote against your candidates. Give me a candidate who’s pro-life from womb to tomb, believes that any religious practice is legal if it doesn’t threaten life health or property of others, and supports enforcing immigration law until it’s changed, and you’ve got my vote. Oh wait, you kicked all those candidates out of your party.

Democrats do NOT believe in open borders. They did NOT have them when they were in office. I have known zero “pro-life” people who were “pro-life” from “womb to tomb.” They are not pro-life, they are merely pro-birth. After birth, they don’t give a crap about anyone but themselves. Not only that, but they are for abortion rights if it benefits themselves. If it involves a rich white guy with a mistress, it is perfectly fine for her to have an abortion, just nobody else.

DHG: I tend to think if every eligible voter did vote, it would be much better for the country. I am not interested in 5 year olds voting, as you said, but everyone who is eligible. As it is, only a small number of people are voting and actually many of them are uninformed. It doesn’t seem that voting for trump is in the interest of many in this country, yet many did vote for him.
