Alas, I may never get my question answered…how it was that Howard had insider information on Business Cat’s operation- and how he had got into BC’s office.
Looks like Crustacean Industries is a hedge fund who have acquired a minority holding in Business Cat’s old venture and would like to force Howard Dog out so they can increase the dividend and sell off the assets to book a substantial profit before unloading the company. Business Cat with his predatory nature is just the one to help them do this in return for a large signing bonus and a termination clause that will enable him to pay off his debt to the IRS and retire in comfort. Then if he chooses he can launch a new venture; hire some kittens to perhaps develop a ‘phone app to track and catch mice along with a game of war between cat and mouse villages set in a mythical time. He can also sell merchandise derived from the game and it’s characters. It’s all good!
What I’m wondering about is, what about BC’s other business where he also went to work as their CEO? When Howard took over this business, how come BC didn’t just mosey on over to the other one :(
