Popsicles will always save the day!

So sweet to see Elvis providing ankle reinforcement to the baby, even as her tiny ankles are tucked under her mother’s elbow.

Sweet, sweet popsicles!!

Is that a sock or some unknown black and white cat in the lower right hand corner of the last panel? If I hadn’t dug the grave I’d swear that Tippy was in the strip.

I dunno- it looks like Elvis sorta’ dozed off (we won’t hold it against you, fearless investigator- this is WAY more than you signed up for)

What flavor will Lupin go for and what will his face look like after he eats it?

I could use an emergency popsicle. :-)

Puck’s facial expression in panel 3 is perfect – “oh no, bad things are happening”. Never cared for popsicles, we never had them at home.

Hold it together there Puck. If you start crying, the situation may be lost!

Wow, it’s so weird to see Elvis down on all four paws. Did he drop his mic behind the Popsicle box?

I think panel three is the most concerned Pucky’s ever been!

Don’t panic, Woman! Popsicles can solve most problems!

“Calm down, liebchen, deep breaths.” Tre-C’s eyes were big. And round. And she did not appear to have pupils any longer. “Those are not birds of prey. And besides- you know were we are, even though I don’t think you’ve ever actually been here.” Tre—C had to let that sink in. “On the NEWS… I’ve seen them… on TV. I thought…” “No, no, no. Baby, those are just transportation for the People. It’s ok, this was my fault. You did well on the first stream, but two in a row was pushing it for such a baby…” Tre-C did NOT like that last comment, and actually arched her back; “Baby? I’m almost two!” Megan saw the need to tone things down; “Tre-C you’re a smart cat, but you haven’t been out much. Is that safe to say?” Tre-C just looked down. “You just came out of the stream- for only the second time ever- and you were disoriented. Anyone would be. I can imagine seeing these things in the air, coming down, screaming…” Tre-C sighed; “I’ve seen them on TV… at the moment I came out of the stream I thought they were right on top off us. You know, it was that ‘fight or flight’ thing. They’re a long way away… aren’t they?” “Yes, kitten- and, as you saw, MUCH bigger as they get closer. It’s called ‘perspective’” “Oh, yeah… there was a question on Jeopardy! about that..” Megan wanted to move on; “OK, so I guess you HAVE watched some TV…” But then she felt compelled to ask; “you know what a car is, right?” “Yeah, I think every human around here has one or two. They keep them right in their yards” “Well, the airplanes are just big cars that can fly.” Tre-C now wanted to put this episode behind her and get to why Megan had asked her to come here in the first place. “So what now?”, she asked. Megan looked Tre-C in her eyes and said; “Well, kitten… we’re going to find that thing you lost here…”

I once took an orange popsicle over to my girlfriend’s apartment when she had a cold (for the sore throat thing). As we sat there talking, I happened to look down at her six-week-old kitten, to see it happily licking away at the popsicle with its eyes closed.

Three weeks later I brought over another orange popsicle especially for the kitten. Apparently between six and nine weeks of age they lose their taste for frozen orange-flavored treats because he wouldn’t have anything to do with it.

…or, several Otter Pops…

Not to bring politics into it, but maybe when the Powers That Be reach an impasse, they should adjourn and have a Popsicle Summit.

That is one outraged and disgusted baby! True to life I am sure!

Those aren’t popsicles. Pospsicles have sticks.

Just wait ‘til the sugar high kicks in . . . THEN they’ll have something to cry about!!

I liked the root beer popsicles. I liked to suck the “root beer” out and watch the ice get clear.

Yup. Nothing an ice-cold Popsicle can’t fix … especially in the summer.

I have done this. Somewhere is a photo my husband took of the 4 (under age 5!) children and me sitting on the front step eating rocket pops.
