Although there is no spider involved; this reminds me of a tale I heard from a friend. His wife had long been asking for a fancy granite back-splash around their kitchen counter top. One day he came home to find she had used a hammer to knock a large hole in the wall where the back-splash would go.

One time at about 2 AM my daughter was screaming There’s A Fire. I came running in yelling where’s the fire? She said no I said there’s a fire. I don’t sleep with my hearing aids in.

I’ll bet that’s one mixed up spider!

I’ve got an electric fly swatter that I got Harbor Freight for free with purchase. It works good!

Would she have killed the spider if it was beautiful? I have seen some really beautiful spiders. If they are inside my house, I will attempt to get them outside. If outside, I will look at them daily.

A spider is only in the house because you’re feeding it. That is, it’s eating all the nasty little flies and flying bugs, so why kill it? At least, catch it and carry it outside.

All because a “Itsy biysy spider climbed up the kitchen wall”! ;o]

if it got away, it will be back — bigger and stronger…

Beware, Opal. Before that spider got mixed up with your blender and the wall, he notified all his friends of your murderous intent.

They’re all coming for you, Opal !

And the moral of this tale is you should always wear your hearing aides.

The moral of the story: Keep your hearing aid on if you value your house.
