    Back in WWII allied prisoners in an “escape proof” POW camp,(where former prisoners who had successfully escaped from standard POW camps but recaptured were sent) built a glider to allow 1 or 2 people to escape. The war ended before it could be used. Reportedly, the “escape proof” POW camp commander was totally gob smacked when the former prisoners showed it to him
