“Have You Never Been Mellow?,” “The Banana Splits Theme Song,” “Mahna Mahna,” and “The Andy Griffith Theme Song.” There, those should be out of your head in a month or two. And everyone knows that someone who won’t remember some or all of these, and will Google them – much to their regret. Muah, ha, ha.
Doesn’t Muzak have no lyrics? Real Muzak would be an instrumental version of “The Rain, the Park, and Other Things” (that’s the Flower Girl song) churned out by studio musicians and made for the sole purpose of being played in places like elevators and dentist offices.
I’ll never forget my dad hearing a Beatles song on his easy listening studio (yes, the Beatles were Muzaked). A minute later the original played on the rock station I was listening to. His comment was how much better his version was.

Hey! The Flower Girl song by the Cowsills— the group that inspired the TV show, “The Partridge Family”!

Re: That “I love the flower girl…” line is from The Rain, the Park & Other Things by the Cowsills. It’s actually a really cool tune. Look it up.

Would work even if the drug dealers themselves become immune, because their buyers are going to go elsewhere.

Pipe old Dr. Gene Scott programs, that should do the trick.
