My spine is like an elevator and in the mornings my brains are in the basement. Before going to sleep I’ll tell my brains (my mind/subconscious) to ‘wake up @ at a quarter to five’ and it never fails. I haven’t used an alarm clock in more than forty years. I can’t stand that grating noise. I’ll flash on it from time to time during the day.

Those of you with no alarm or snooze button, you must not have dogs or cats to keep you on schedule.

By the time you’re my age, your first thought on waking is to make it to the loo before you wet yourself.
