On her Twitter feed, Georgia asked what our favorite BCN strips from 2018 are. It is, of course, an impossible task. I finally decided to limit myself to those strips that I saved as favorites here on GoComics. Even then it is tough. The Sunday strips are generally self-contained, so it is easier to pick one of them. The daily strips are more continuity and picking a single strip out of a continuity is tough.

After long thought, my Sunday selection is the St. Patrick’s Day strip (March 18, 2018). I loved that one so much I bought a print of it!

For a daily strip, I was tempted by some of the Lupin/Sir Fig interaction during the laundry room adventure, and some of Tillie’s bits during Pucky’s Halloween Adventure, but I finally settled on the strip from June 1, 2018: I mustache you to respect my choice!

My cat boops me on the nose when I’m sleeping, it’s very effective.

Good morning and TGIF, orbsters and orbabies. I don’t think that Elvis should be booped on the nose while he is sleeping. His cockeyed look is absolutely adorable, though.

I don’t think LastRoseofSummer comments here on a regular basis, but over on Ten Cats there is a notification that her husband Dale lost his battle with cancer yesterday. I am sending healing and consoling hugs, purrs, bumps and boops her way.

Paul and I are still fighting our colds.

just last night while watching tv, my dog honey on her recliner next to mine was sleeping/dreaming with her eyes open, nose twitching. but I’ve never had a cat do that. although there was no “do not disturb” sign I left her alone

Question, since I haven’t seen anything of this nature in here before and I don’t want to set a bad precedent.

I am planning for my post-back pain return to the race course to be a three-mile fundraising “fun run” for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in March. Boop, boop, boopity, boop! One of my cats sticks his cold nose on my eyelids if I sleep too long. Is this a boop?

This used to happen to me occasionally when I was much younger. And the results were especially unsettling — not just for me, but for anyone in the same bed — if I was dreaming when it did.

@Georgia Dunn I hope you see this! I’ve just revisited 2018, and from a long list distilled my six favorites, the all-time favorite being the one that turned me into a lifelong admirer of yours when I found it on your website a couple years ago: 5/17/18 — showing me you truly channel kitties.
