Here in Canada, a white comedian with dreadlocks was dropped from a comedy revue because a black comedian said he had misappropriated a black cultural symbol. Or something like that ………… I didn’t pay that much attention. A man’s haircut is his own business.

There is unrest in the forestCause a jerk was just dumped thereHe is offended of the unrestBut the trees all just don’t care.

The maples and the oaks, the firs and the pinesAll want silence for the bestBut the jerk who was moved there and whinesWill have to deal with all the rest.

The trees won’t give him peaceSo it will be best for him to leaveThe forest for the beachWhere he will find it easier to grieve.

Then he can sue the dirty ratThe one who put him thereSo we will truly know thatWe all really don’t—-um—-care.

Just their luck, the offended guy gets dropped in Fangorn forest.

For once I’m with rat on this.

Throw him across the Atlantic Ocean directly in the middle of Sahara desert .

It takes thick skin to have free speech.

No one can offend your sensibilities without your express permission.

The problem is these “offended “ persons think it’s our job to change for them. I think we all just need to ignore there wants and live our lives accordingly.

Permanently Offended Guy needs to understand it’s not our fault when he is offended. He has the choice to avoid anything or anyone that bothers him. It’s just going to be lonely in his safe space.

I’m not offended, just fed up with the offended people. I think it all started with the participation awards and nobody looses, all inclusive feel good movement. Now I’ll be labeled a hater because I offended someone.

Luckily we have the internet so all the offended people and the people offended at people being offended can yell and shout to their heart’s content in front of a willing and sometimes unwilling audience.

The website linked below connects you to a trailer that purports to be approved for general audiences but it is a trailer for a movie that is definitely not safe for general audiences. The trailer itself might offend you. Most people would be offended by the movie itself. But I think it’s one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen and a brilliant analysis of what is funny and why it is funny and how virtuoso comedians can make a joke unique to their own style of comedy.

What’s really stupid is when people get offended by things that ARE’NT offensive.

How convenient. Simply dismiss the person who is offended so that there is no need to look at our own attitudes and behaviors. I am guessing that most of the positive comments on this strip are from white males who can’t understand why people just don’t have a sense of humor anymore.
