I’m with Nelson on this one. My MIL never let us forget that she helped us out with housekeeping chores, uninvited, unannounced, and unnecessary. We gave our house key to my husband’s parents very shortly after we got married. Wish we had waited a bit longer before we did – then they would not have gotten one. Sigh.
Valentine trivia: M&M’s were created in 1941 for the soldiers because it wouldn’t melt in their hands. That probably means that sofa M&M’s are safe. Well, not safe from lint but that’s not going to stop him.

For that price, I’d want an everlasting gobstopper.

What makes them special? Could it be the pot?

Oh, gawd the eternal, never ending, “Remember when I. . .?” Friends who’ve pulled that suddenly became “acquaintances”. . .

Grandma’s “special chocolates” are probably Ex-Lax
swanridge almost 6 years ago
If they’re that special, they are only for special occasions, none of which have happened for years, so they are all stale now anyway.
iggyman almost 6 years ago
Nelson, stale or not I’m with you on the M&Ms!
zeexenon almost 6 years ago
That’s exactly where I find mine. I learned that trick from gramps about 1943.
