Ahhh, the perfect duo. Elvis as the brawns of this operation, and Lupin as the brains. Seriously, though, it would be cute to see a court dispute with BCN and with Tommy as the judge.

Am I the only one who thought the WWE story on ‘Last Week Tonight with John Oliver’ last Sunday was rather well-timed for this week’s BCN story arc?

If Tommy is commissioner and chief arbitrator, he’s going to remind you two that you are brothers and that you should always have each other’s backs!

The trash talk is getting really scary. Especially Lupin’s.

Lupin, save it for the ceiling team.

Oh my Cat…the trash talk is getting serious. Lupin might bring in caged, feral lawyers and release them into the match. Oh the catlamity!

Thank you to everyone who sent support, uplifting comments, and good thoughts for Albert A. Cat during his dental surgery. He’s home, although with considerably fewer teeth. I had never heard of tooth reabsorption!

Hmmm… I predict a really cool match montage on Sunday, ending in a draw – it is rain season, after all – or interruption by People hurrying to get their cats off the forbidden porch. Then the rivalry will have to be settled with another sort of contest. Inside, of course. :)

…I know some readers have expressed surprise or even annoyance that ‘Lupin Leaps In’ has been promoted for middle grade readers. I’ve always written the comic for all ages, (and still do, rest assured!) Here are some of the reasons why I agreed (yes, I did!) to have the comic marketed to kids.

1. Some of the best comics—my own favorite comics—are marketed to kids, including “Calvin & Hobbes” and “Peanuts.” Anyone of any age can enjoy these comics, they are incredible, I hope to be a quarter good as they are, and I hope this is reason enough to understand why I jumped at the chance to be put into this category.

2. This category receives a lot of support and marketing! Not the most inspiring reason, but I’m being honest, and I was very grateful to be offered the support that middle grade books receive!

I am the Siamese, who will not Please! My teammate is the, Fluff who will not Puff! Sunday, you are goin’ doooown, ceiling cats! And then we are gonna hack you out, like a hairbaaaall!!

What is Lupin carrying?

So . . . is Lupin super-reluctant about the tag-teaming, or about the rumble with this particular set of opponents? Something tells me he and Elvis won’t be very well coordinated in their strategies.

All is not well with the BCW duo. Will they respond to each other’s tags?

How nice that the WWE is having Wrestlemania with a female top bill the same day that BCW is having the Heck on the Deck! I’m sure they totally planned this co-marketing event to play on the popularity of BCW.
