To be honest, having super-strength and/or speed granted via some convoluted origin story doesn’t really require 4% body fat. So why do they all fit this cultural ideal?
I used to always footnote the clown story by explaining that the original anecdote was about a guy named Joe Grimaldi. Then one day I realized my authority for that was Robert Ripley, and therefore had no probative value one way or the other. If only Bennett Cerf had weighed in.
But if Frankenstein’s monster calls himself Adam, what is his last name? He is in effect, Dr. Frankenstein’s adoptive son, so his full name would be Adam Frankenstein… as such he can be called Frankenstein.
“Schrodinger’s cat” and “Wigner’s friend” are two thought experiments from the 1930s to model quantum dynamics. This comic not only shows the familiar live/dead cat, but the “Wigner’s friend” experiment is being performed here, too.
It involves Wigner in a box observing an event, then his friend opening the box and peeking in to observe the situation (and collapse a wave function twice—a paradox.)
On top of that, notice the title, Schrodinger’s cat (singular) and their (plural)… This refers to the one cat actually being two cats superimposed as uncollapsed waveforms.
Bolling is familiar with some VERY obscure physics!
From this and his “rocket cats” comic, I’d bet Big Money that he writes this stuff stoned!
