This camping trip is going to be a humdinger!!

For those of you that thought this “trip” wasn’t going to happen? I HOPE you didn’t bet the farm! ;)

Camping? This is turning into an encampment, a safari, troop movement, survival training. And, kids, be mindful of the old Frenchmen and Indians: No teepee creeping after the sun goes down.

I wonder how many of this crew will still be friends after a few days roughing it?

Now I’m all in favor for this camping trip :)

Did anyone else think that was Piro instead of Nil, or was it just me?

It’s good to see Nil again! I like his laconic, straight-shooter take on things.

Jesus. They simply invited themselves without letting Luann talk any further. I just KNOW Jack will drop something on Luann AGAIN and Nil and Bern will snark some more while Dez goes into a frenzy from all the negative energy among the Luann crew. Tara is gone on an adventure of her own and will breeze in at the end of the trip and everyone realizes they hadn’t seen her until just then. Old plots, new scene.

Maybe between the three of them there will at least one of them that knows something about camping.

At least Bernice will have plenty of subjects to study.

I suggested inviting Tara and Tiff to go, but this is going to be even MORE wild. Maybe our favorite spoiled blond will attend anyway.

Luann should update Dez & Bern know about the “additions” to their camping trip, as a courtesy!!

They won’t have to worry about surprising a bear, now…but Dez’s plans for a peaceful nature retreat have just been trashed…

Luann’s hottie friend Tara knows how to dress. Luann would look good with the same – maybe a different color.

Dez can sit motionless and become one with nature. Nil can just sit motionless…

The college gangs all in. Will there be anyway else added? Tiffany is a Mooney student, oh wait she has to work and take classes.

BTW Jack and Tara are looking more and more like a couple and Nil would be ideal for Bernice (provided he’s a better kisser than Piro). Will Luann miss out on romance once again – and this is the girl who snogged every new guy who appeared on the script?

This could turn into a nature disaster quickly. Who’s going to take charge of important things..like trash, will someone haul in a port-a-potty or dig a hole or just…Hmmm.

By the time this is over, Brad, Toni, Shannon, Al, Irma, Jonah, TJ, Frank, Nancy, Les, Gunther, Bets, the coupon girl, Tiff, Dirk and his wife, Diane, Aaron Hill, Quilly, Mr. Fogarty, Mrs. Horner , Tom, Evil Ann, Piro, Greg and Karen, the Forths, Mark Trail, Cherry, Mary Worth, Boris and Natasha, Captain Kangaroo and Mr. Greenjeans, and Will Robinson will all show up. Bernie better bring a lot of pencils and notebooks. Cherry better watch out, Tiff might give her a run for her money with Mark, she’ll be on his trail.

Heck, I might just show up – I love to camp. Oh, yeah – Danger, Will Robinson… Tiff is on the loose. Elliot Moose is on the loose.

Nil will say the heat is intense, then Jack will tell everyone to get out of the tents to avoid the heat.

YEEEEEEEESSS!!!! My biggest hope about this arc will very probably become true!!!!!

Apparently … “Guess who’s going camping!” … sounds exactly like … “Let’s go camping!” ….

This is good news for Bernice.

“Nil! We thought you were dead!”

They meet some people in the woods and dueling banjos are playing in the background.

The serenity of Nature Dez is seeking isn’t going to be so peaceful.

The plot thickens. And lengthens. And widens.

And, if we stick around, deepens.

So we have Nil who dresses for summer like its winter; Tara who has told us she wears nothing underneath; Jack who LuAnn has seen au natural in the modeling class. Yep its going to be interesting except it either (A) the trip will fall apart and not happen or (B) gets started and turns into a disaster (perhaps natural). Time will tell.

Now it’s going to be an co-ed camping trip? If this wasn’t a “family strip” thiiiings might get very interesting during certain private moments.

Confucius says, “Man who take woman camping have one in tent…”

Shouldn’t Luann’s comment in the first scene end with a question mark instead of an exclamation point?

And, I foresaw Jack being included all along… the girls need the brawn!

Despite what Al Jaffee said, THIS is how to draw a crowd.

Rude of these people to just invite themselves.

one day left, and I still don’t see it happening. Not in any resemblance to how it was envisioned. Maybe 1300 other people with the same idea? not much “wilderness” to be left.

And there it is. I have never inserted myself in to someone elses life like this. It would ask, Woudl you mind one more? but seriously. everyone jumping on the oh you mean ME! bus. not cool.

Two guys and four gals in the woods. I think we got us a commune! :o)

Now THIS is going to be interesting.

That’s just rude! Luann didn’t ask “who wants to go camping” she asked, “guess who’s going camping?” They didn’t even ask if they could join her!

I hope this doesn’t turn into the New York City storyline. A month of talking about what was going to happen. Then they actually get to NYC and the story line lasted one week with nothing exciting happening and coming to an abrupt end.

Self-invite much? lol, well makes for an interesting plot/story…

If Piro is not homeless and needs to wear all his clothes all the time, then his internal thermostat is way off.

Looks like our camping group might be expanding. The question is, to how big?

Is Nil a cyclops? Asking for a friend.

Oh, I hope they set up 2 separate campsites and Luann has to make an excuse to go between the two without letting each site know that they’re there. Imagine the wacky sitcom hilarity.

Meanwhile, in BRAD and TONI land… when are they having a baby??

Bernice will blow a gasket keeping up with all these people. Her dissertation will come from this.

You know, I’ve noticed that the characters have their arms slightly raised when they walk, like Luann is doing in the first panel. What’s up with that? Can’t they keep them down at their sides like the rest of us do?

will they all fit in Jack’s truck? Will the campground be closed when they get there? stay tooned!

Why is this cat dressed like it’s the dead of winter? Does Evans even look at what he’s drawing?!

They’re going to need to charter a bus!

The operative question is who will sleep in a tent with whom?

Nil, the mysterious artist, dressed for freezing weather while everyone else is in tees and sleeveless shirts.

Wow! With Tara, Jack, and Nil along, plus the original Dez, Bernie, and Luann, this camping trip is starting to look a lot more interesting! Will anyone else climb aboard the Let’s Go Camping Train?
