Bea is a smart cookie! Definitely “working cat” material. I saw a news report last night on BBC One that interviewed several working cats in England who make a real difference! Such as Felix the Huddersfield train station senior pest controller! I tried to visit with her on Monday when hubby and I were at the train station but unfortunately she was getting her beauty sleep. A working girl needs her rest! :D
In case you missed some of yesterday’s post, we have three very sad orbs that could use some booping. ♥
In reverse order of posting:
LucyLuLu lost her beloved Pucky lookalike. RIP
NicklB454’s sweet Zoe has passed. RIP
Calvin’s Bobert has joined them over the Rainbow Bridge. RIP
We know these babies are happier & freer than ever before, but their people need us. We know the loss of a furbaby is a loss of family.Let’s lift these orbsters, and all orbsters still dealing with loss and other kicks & slams of earthly life.
We’re here! Keep us in the loop! We care very, very much! ♥♥♥
Maybe that’s why Ember marches across my keyboard whenever I’m on the computer. Maybe she’s trying to tell me to proofread my work. Or maybe she’s trying to tell me not to get into political debates on FB.
All my plants seem to be thriving, except for my herbs, which have turned up their toes and died. Father-in-law, a wonderful gardener, says they simply did not get enough light. I need an apartment with old-fashioned windowsills, which I don’t have and I’m not planning on moving.
Just wanted to say it’s nearing Summer, and my posts might my spotty at best, nonexistent at worst, but I shall always be a part of the Mega Orb. Possibly goodbye for now!
((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))))))))) to everyone who is hurting or facing loss of any kind. It is never easy but please remember that you are not alone, even if there is no one around. How did we ever get by without the Orbs?
Which reminds me . . Witcheeminx lovely, how are you doing? ❤️ Thinking of you! (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Huggythingys and healing purrs going Witcheeminx’s way))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
just a heads up people try to keep your kitties indoors my Bella was shot last night with a pellet gun in her ear she now has a hole in her ear and a nasty scab but thank goodness thats all also found the pellet stuck in her fur but no other wound.
Lots of thanks to everyone who sent suggestions and good thoughts about my acid reflux attack! It was actually Gaviscon I took rather than Riopan, that’s what trying to post at 3 a.m. does to one’s brain. The Gaviscon does work well to keep the acid down. I’ve been taking it before bed for the last two or three weeks, but had skipped it for a couple of nights, thinking the current flare-up had to be over by now. Obviously bad decision. I’m a little leery of taking antacids because of other medications I’m on, but sometimes there is no choice. This is by far the most painful, nasty reflux I’ve ever experienced. Having had this and other stomach problems for many years, I finally reached the end of the rope and got a referral to the local gastroenterologist—the earliest available appointment was late August—and also, Significant Other has laid down the law (not something I usually tolerate well, as I am usually a law unto myself ; ) and said we will take no trips farther than one day from home until I do something about the problems.
Wishing the entire Orb a wonderful upcoming weekend and lots of uninterrupted zzzzzzzz!

How did the fern get so big with Elvis in the house? Did Beatrix convince him not to eat it?

Beatrix, please come and arrange my whole house.

If it weren’t for Beatrix, her fern would have been doomed.
