If yoga was taught this way, I’d totally take classes in it.

(In retrospect, my mistake was probably trying to take a yoga class in my last semester of college. The instructor was all “clear your mind, experience the moment” and I was more “THIS IS FREE TIME TO THINK ABOUT MY THESIS!”)

Those pose names are awesomely hilarious. And Elvis looks great with Yoda ears. :-)

Is this the biggest Pucky chart of all time? Jasper would get down on the floor with me when I was trying to do the PT exercises. There’s one called the clamshell where you lie on your side, bend your knees slightly, the lift the top leg while keeping the feet and ankles together. Jasper would curl up in within the v-shape of my upper thigh and just get comfy when I had to switch to the other side.

Those are great poses, Lupin. I’ll have to try them someday.

So what is the cat name for the pose Lupin and the Woman are doing? I suggest “Reach for the Ham”, since we’ve seen Puck trying to grab ham off the table with a similar stretch.

My favourite move is Get That Picanic Basket, by our great Yogi guruji.

Hold each pose for 30 seconds. Then eat as much as you can and sleep for sixteen hours. That’ll keep you fit.

Actual Quick update on Nushi – Nushi ate well today. Better than she has in a week! Nushi pooped (1st time in 3 days)! It was a good day!

I also posted late yesterday at the end of my first Quick update (warning, it was not….) and there were many great suggestions when you have a cat (or dog) that is not wanting to eat. Now to sleep! Go Orb Power!!!

So excited I’m leaving this twice! Also under my original Nushi update.

Nushi is walking better this morning! It’s still wobbly, but SO much better than just last night. And she went right in, asked for food, gave me ankle reinforcements and then ate a whole portion of food all by herself! I’m so happy and relieved. The drug IS working.

It’s finally starting to sink in that PJ is REALLY GONE. I’m shedding a few tears now & then, which actually feels good. (Usually I HATE to cry, it makes me feel wrung out & awful.)

His SIL Maria has insisted that I be involved in his funeral arrangements, & I feel honored…she’s such a sweetheart! He didn’t want a big fuss & he’s being cremated, so when we met with the funeral director yesterday we decided not to have a viewing, just a simple family-(&-maybe-a-select-few-close-friends)-only memorial. That will be either late this week or some time next week.

Again, thank you all – I feel so loved!

Don’t provoke the Disney lawyers. They’ll sue if you call someone Mickey.

One night I was watching an ice hockey game between the San Jose Sharks and Phoenix Coyotes. Our announcer, Randy Hahn, always refers to Phoenix as the “Desert Dogs”. On one play, two of the players collided and fell tangled in a very awkward position. The color announcer says “What is this, yoga?” and without missing a beat, Randy says “Yes, it’s a position called the UPWARD facing DESERT DOG.”

Need translation of some of the Cat Yoga poses.‘Yo, I’m a mermaid’, ‘Hot lava’, and ‘Now you’re dead’. Is Lupin on his back in the last pose or face turned to his right?

Before I do my yoga, Sebastian helps me warm up by me lifting him a total of 20 times. 10 each with different ways I hold him (if that makes any sense). Then down to the yoga and getting kitty butts in my face. (Not to mention a tail in my mouth!)

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Late in the day to ask this, but does anyone remember who, when asked about high-sided litter boxes to prevent spraying outside the box, suggested getting a regular old plastic storage box and cutting an entry hole in the side? I mentioned this to my mom when she was having the same problem with the twins, she tried it, and she loves it! Thank you to whoever that was – she says that was a brilliantly simple idea. So easy to get the lid off, or to pick up and move.

This reminds me of a very old Simpsons episode where they did “The Shinning” where Bart says “You mean shining” to which groundskeeper Willie replied “Shh, you wanna get sued?”

This is a wonderful Yoga chart. You should make it into a poster. I’d love to have one.
