I worked in a movie theater where we had those lights at the emergency exit doors under the screens. Sometimes a draft would set them off and the light would stay on for about 15 seconds.

I’ve never heard it called “Oh! Possum!” unless it startled someone in the dark. My cat calls ’em “Wreow!” :o)

The motion light can be unplugged it you don’t want it to turn on for awhile.

Doing it outside even in the back yard can make it more exciting and therefor more pleasurable.

If possum is good enough for Granny Clampett, good enough for me.

Keeping the lights off keeps the dream alive. Actions may be a young persons requirement for satisfaction but memory takes over as we age and with the same importance.

Janis says she’s wanted a motion activated light for years, and yet they’ve been around for decades. What stopped her? (And not the fear of being “discovered”. You can switch them off.)

Opossum is only the correct spelling if one says opossum. If one says possum, then the correct spelling is possum. Perhaps you mean the correct name?
