“Reporter Mouse” seems most enthusiastic. Puck is so sweet to recognize how terrible it is to lose your people. Come on, Lupin. Don’t be selfish. Share with a kitty in need. Right now, Goldie needs your tape recorder more than you do. I have a feeling you’ll get it back eventually once the case of the missing people is solved and Goldie finds a new home.

I guess just like IRL, Lupin will be the one who has the most difficult time accepting Goldie!

I love the variety of facial expressions and attitudes Georgia achieves with such economy of line. Lupin lately has been wonderful.

Lupin needs to remember that there were two reasons he was named Lupin. While one is that he was named for the good guy Lupin in Harry Potter, the other is that as a kitten, he was such a thief, he was named after the master criminal, Arsine Lupeen (not sure I spelled that right,)

Minor question: did Goldie actually say her own name while talking into a tape recorder?

Why are they calling Natasha “robber mice” when she acted alone and I would think they would be on a first name basis by now after all they have been through together.

Talk about effective, economical use of line and space! Georgia’s ability has me gobsmacked. (Always wanted to use that word.)

I love that Lupin is snarking about Goldie . . . and Elvis is assuming Lupin is referring to the Robber Mouse.

It could have been worse. Goldie’s people could have dumped her in some neighborhood just because she was pregnant. We had that happen both with Lady and Lassie when I was a kid. That’s how we ended up with a long line of cats that traced their lineage back to Lady (the last of that line was Reak, aka Reaker or Reaky; Smokey and the boys came along after his death) and a short line of dogs that ended in Spotty (none of the three we have now are from that line). Although before there was Lady there was Bit-tie when I was an infant, neighbors in the aparment building moved and left him behind and mom and dad ended up adopting him.

Hi, everyone, I’m back from the cabin! Sixteen pound turkey, ten pound ham, 9 hungry adults, no leftovers!

Oh, come on, Lupin, show a little compassion for an abandoned kitty! Elvis, honey, what do you have hanging out of your mouth?

Being a homeless outdoor cat is not easy. It’s not like she was raised to hunt and so forth. We’ve had several indior cats that were raised indoors. They sometimes caught bugs and didn’t know what to do with them.
