“I don’t need no stinking doggy door.”

I’ve heard of Deerhounds and Doormen, but never heard of a doorhound before.

This couple too trifling to let him back in?

He must be a latent mutant dog or he ate some wrong grass outside.

Gawd I hate people who have pets ( dogs ) that they leave outside to bark for hours

The bad news is, we don’t even have a dog.

Pooch’s alternative would have been to bribe a cat to open it.

Leave no door unhinged….wooof

We trained our pup to ring a set of sleigh bells to go out, or to come in. One set inside, one out. Now she rings to go out, then turns around and rings to come in, and repeats, and repeats. We have realized she was training us… As I type this she is asleep in my lap, and I love it!

Good doggy good doggy

It appears that the house now has both a new dog door and a new window.

Cujo would be proud.

I vaguely recall an old cartoon about a large dog that actually caught the car it was chasing. Anyone remember the details?

The bad news — this isn’t their dog.

Gives new meaning to the term “doggie door”.

I had a neighbour in Alberta whose dog would chase cars and bite the valve stems on a tire. Then he would proudly sit next to the stopped car and wait for the driver to change the tire.

Our dog taught himself to ring the doorbell.

My dog never tore down the door, but he did scratch it up!

Get a cat: this will NEVER happen. And you’ll lose a lot of weight getting up and going over to let the cat in. . .and let the cat out. . .and let the cat in. . .and let the cat out. . .and. . .

Bad dog.

We had a dog who made himself a dog sized “door” when he ran full tilt towards the nylon screen door. He just turned around and looked at the hole like he was amazed he did it.

We had a dog who discovered he could open doors with levered hardware.

Time for walkies.

Along with those T-Rex teeth he gets some of the strength too. Maybe even the smartness of the T-Rex brain with the teeth and bite power. How did that expensive hybrid escape?

This makes me think of the day, our dog decided that no screen door was going to stop him. He went thru it like, a surface to squirrel rocket. Sadly, he didn’t get the squirrel, but, gave it his best shot.

“My eyes a-door’d you…..”

Anyone else notice that the doorway is arched, but the top of the door isn’t?
